Ouch! Aspirin!
Aspirin can cause harm. For me taking too much of it
at an early age, led me to Dr. Bernard Jensen.

In his workshops,
Dr. Jensen would take a common aspirin
and heat it up under a bunsen burner.
As the white of the aspirin burned it turned to a sticky
stinky cold tar. The stench filled the room.
It made people want to gag. The Dr. did this
to demonstrate the ill effects of aspirin.
He said it hurt the liver if taken in too much.
For years, I would avoid aspirin,
even under the most extreme conditions.
Generally, I would get a headache when I burned the
candle at both ends right before a conference,
and then ate foods that my organs could not handle.
I would tox myself out.
In my early years of arthritis development,
that came from bad habits and stress as much as
an ignorance of what foods were foods,
there came a time when I started to take aspirin to get by.
Then, I went on to other kinds of popular arthritis drugs.
I owe a lot ot aspirin. I am not sure I would have met
Dr. Bernard Jensen if it were not for aspirin and those
other man-made pharmas.
My bowel began to bleed. I had stomach pain.
I felt I was too young to be living a life on aspirin.
I started to look for other solutions.
Pain is often an important sign.
I do not believe it is a good idea
to suppress pain. Often it is a teacher.
Dr. Jensen would say,
When you step on the tail of a cat,
it is the other end that screams.
In other words, everything is connected.
Take time to understand why we are in pain.
I admit, my recent bout with Kidney Stones
was an eye opener.
Dr. Danny Keiller, a specialist with Urology,
could not see Kidney Stones in my xrays.
Three weeks before the ER was calling out,
but I avoided this through reading up on Curezone.
I stopped eating. I went on juices for six days.
They I cut down on meat. I was taking Ayurvedic herbs
and accupuncture. I was taking Humic-Fulvic Acid
that is said to dissolve Kidney Stones.
Dr. Keiller, when he saw no Kidney Stones,
thought that the stones that had been visible
weeks before in a Catskan, were likely made of Uric Acid.
uric Acid stones do not appear in X Rays.
He put 2 + 2 together.
He had many solutions for me that included
various pharma drugs that would relax the body parts
so the stones could get out, and also drugs I could take
on a regular basis to prevent Kidney Stones.
He told me he had never, in all his 30 years, seen a Kidney Stone dissolve.
Maybe he was not looking.
Pharma and conventional medicine are now one.
Conventional Food production and pharma go hand in hand,
as our supermarket shelves indicate.
I would never say that pharma and conventional medicine
are not here for a purpose, and do not do good.
I would not be walking today if it were not for
Hip Revisions and Hip Replacements. My hips are held
tegether by Titanium and screws. I owe a lot to the Science
of Surgery.
Part of my pay back is this Blog and what I l own all the
tremendous teachers who helped lift me up and breathe
life back into me.
I fall down. I get up, like most of us.
Pharma and Surgery are heroic measures.
They give us a second chance to Wise Up.
As Dr. Jensen says,
This planet was put here for us to learn to get along
with the planet, and to learn how to get along with each other--
that is what this planet is for, but we find
we take so many of the constructive things in nature
and turn it into a destructive thing.
Today would be Dr. Bernard Jensen's 100th birthday.
I made him a promise, as I know many had.
He turned me loose in nature.
He believed in the Nature Sanitarium Tradition
where Drs. set up places in nature where people
could regain balance through being in nature.
That to me is what Hidden Valley is all about.
That is the potential of Hidden Valley,
the place where you can still go for retreats
in this the Dr. Bernard Jensen's 100th year.
I recommend going there and sitting in the silence
of the Sacred Oak Trees where he build Hippocrates Circle.
The other day I started writing about aspirin.
My new ally Dan and the Promera company
are coming up with some products through science
so that there can be some healthier alternatives to
Aspirin. Dan, himself knows, that pain can be a teacher.
I know there are times we just need to move on
and get through. On the other hand, I never
want to discount the lessons that pain brings.

One of his first books was called
THE JOY OF LIVING.
Let us remember the Joy through
making an Enchanted Garden of this earth
one pot in one plant at a time.
Today, we are in a turn around time.
We have to turn in another direction,
at more natural direction, an Enchanted Garden direction.
Plant a seed. Grow a Whole New World.
