our Commissioner of Foods under the FDA umbrella,
spoke out to bring Leafy Greens and other

I spent the day writing about this unexpectedly. This is a very important issue. I am sorry I just heard that this was coming up in the last few days. I have been studying and writing about this for a number of years.

Contemptible Green Leaf Marketing Agreement needs push back.
Food Democracy Now asks for 20,000 to sign petition to go to
the USDA. Here is a link as well to the USDA website where were
invited to make comments before 11:58 pm July 28, 2011.
The issues here are not going away until we get educated
and see it as important to establish a healthy dialogue
on Science, Ethics, and Food with all the voices
that need to be heard from all points of view.
These Plant Your Dream blogs are a good place
to find phone numbers to agencies involved
and links to get educated.
This important issue of the Green Leafy Marketing Agreement
that potentially can effect the ability of organic farmers
to be free to earn a livelihood in an open market
fair to all.
