Yesterday was all about Recovery.
Drinking Mate for the first time at
Ryan Altman’s Highly Successful
San Diego Healing Arts Festival did not help.
I do not blame Ryan.
I do not blame Makeda Dread Cheatom
of the Worldbeat Cultural Center; she had
the Mate for sale on her table.
It was I, thirsty, that grapped up the bottle
off of the Worldbeat Table, unscrewed it,
and gussled down the swallows.
Mate and Your Enchanted Gardener do not mix very
well, but then again, maybe it is Perfect.

It’s not like I needed to be up all night.
I do not feel i had any deep sleep.
Gabriel came arrived after 11 PM from LA.
he taught a workshop there at the Agape Center.
We spent about 30 minutes last night.
It was after 1 PM when I got in bed.
I was up at six this morning.
We were out in the garden some time after 7 AM
In between I did not sleep, not really.
I had some Mate unsweetened that I bought from
Makeda at her booth at the San Diego Healing Arts Festival.
I also had some chocolate Paul Juba gave me.

Worked most of yesterday, Saturday
here at the computer. My intent was to get
out to the Waldorf School of San Diego May Faire.
I felt a real pull.
I got there right at the closing time.
People were cleaning up cooperatively.
There were lots of lovely young Mom energy and kids
face painted. There were lovely women with Fairy Wings
that elicited delight to these flower loving eyeballs.
I walked in.
I started to feel lots of emotions.

Joe Rodriguez Jr, AKA Joe the Farmer,
is a symbol for the locall organic family farming
who Never, Never, Gave Up. His family have been
raising food in San Diego County since 1958,
organically since 1986.
They have survived hail, fire, heat, and cold.
The question is, can they survive the imposed
water regulations that are cutting back the amount
of food they can grow.
