There is going to be a restart of the On-line auction
for relief and support.
More than 1600 homes were burned. Sadly, some lost
their lives.

was the speaker at the Pacific Symposium following the brief
Closing Ceremony I did.

San Pasqual Academy, with 19 structures
burned, did not let this get in the way of their
winning the 8 man championship for their district.
Supervisor Ron Roberts used the inspiring story
as he asked those in attendance to donate funds
to help rebuild the school for foster teens.

Ron Roberts, the San Diego supervisor,
whose district covers the San Pasqual Academy,
made a point last night in pointing out that the home for
foster teens, recently damages in the recent San Diego Wildfires,
would not let that stand in the way of their winning their district
8 man football championship.
The school, a home for foster teens, had 19 structures burned.

I slept in this morning.
Then got up and ate some eggs and toast.
That’s a food that keeps me lazy.
I am enjoying a rare and special rain.
Been going on all day so far.
It is watering the seeds that were planted last night
at the So Cal Wildfire Benefit 07 at Steve and Amy Finley’s home.
I haven’t gotten dressed.
I need a day off like this,
although I could be using my time better perhaps.
I am feeling some frustration.
I would have liked to have read a poem last night on stage.

in living here last night before going to bed.
I got a good response from Frank,
a man who wants to live in community.
He lived in a coop in Berkeley.
He is in the Navy.
He has some interesting ideas for transforming the Navy.

at the recent Snowgoose celebration.
She said she was the translator for my old friend,
Mother Sarita. She is now 97.
I am not sure where I put that contact.
I hope I find it.
