From my experience the oil pulling pulls germs and other toxins into the mouth so I rinse with salt water and then brush to kill the bad bacteria etc and flush the toxins. Oil pulling has been a marvelous part of my morning for over three weeks now. I have found rinsing and gargling with unrefined sea salt(Himalayan pink) has eliminated the taste you refer to. I also brush my teeth right after salt water rinsing. I have had good results with much improved oral hygeine including cleaner feeling and brighter teeth plus healthier gums and better breath. Oil swishing has also improved the amount of moisture I get to my eyes. On the spiritual side, swishing forces me not to talk and opens the door to hearing from Yah. It is difficult to hear while one's internal and external yaker is engaged. I wonder if the disabling of the ability to communicate with the mouth is similar to the effect of talking in tounges?

On the negative side, oil pulling has caused toxins to be pulled from who knows where into my upper digestive trac and is noticeable because of the mucous. I quit doing both acv and the water cure to experiment with oil pulling but I am convinced they are complimentary health protocols and I will again make them a part of my morning SSOSS routine. I have gone back to using a tablespoon of acv with juice and a dash of cayenne, turmeric, and cinnamon as a way to flush the mucous. I going back on the water cure protocol today.


Being Peace has been on my mind this morning.

I want to thank Yah for there being no hurricanes this year for my nation. I wanted to work with blind and visually impaired children this year but my other job is to chase hurricanes. My prayers have been answered. I started my program with the children yesterday and one of my lessons was about how important water is to our bodies. It is important to be what we teach and I am back to drinking my water every day. The kids loved all of the activities we did and at the end of the program I asked if they liked these types of science activities and almost all of the kids gave a hardy yes or yeah and they said they were looking forward to our next visit. It was one of the best days of my life. I have been trying for months to get funding to teach environmental science, kayaking, canoeing, out at the school and now I get my chance. Thank Yah. Even this morning, I am feeling the afterglow of being right where I was supposed to be in the larger picture of the the waves and circles that make up the spiritual organism that is earth. Yesterday the idea became an action, which created a ripple that may turn into a wave of peace that may reach much further than its outward appearance. That ripple already made this day a better day and perhaps the ripple will continue on throughout the day. I am excited about the posibility of creating spiritual tsunami's of joy, lovingkindness, and smiling faces... Now that is a science experiment worthy of prediction...Ha!
