Have you all tried growing it in Ocean Solution?
You should.
Wheat is one of few plants capable of utilising all the 90+ naturally ocurring elements. And guess what? Sea water has all those 90+ and in a perfect balance for the wheat plant.
If you did grow the 'crop' with no soil, you should be able to utilise some of the root mat too. You'll be surprised how thick it can become in 11 days at the right temperature and light settings.
Then you have a real super-superfood!
With a 14 day or so shelf life too.
