Passion Flower Tincture
Passiflora incarnata blossoms with blossom-only tincture.
Recipe:
1.) Pour 1 qt jar half full of 100 proof vodka.
2.) Add fresh Passion Flower blossoms every day until no more fit in the jar.
3.) Top off with vodka if you can.
4.) Keep in dark and allow to tincture for the remainder of two weeks or two months, or longer.
The blossoms quickly lose their colors in the vodka. Keep the jar in a dark, cool place from day one.
Dosage: After about one week, well before the jar was full, a dropperful (35 dropsą) had the desired effect. Taste is rather spicy and peppery. Desired effect was to sleep through the night and not feel drugged. Good stuff.
