Logically, I would take issue with the information your physician has acquired. Chew the tuff leaf, JUST ONE and then spit out after no taste left. The first time I did this I expelled allot of mucus, otherwise known as flue type symptoms. Hi Elizabeth, Olive leaf extract is antiviral , antifungal, antiparasitic, and antibacterial. I would buy a pound of it and mix it (maybe a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon) with the dogs food. I would also keep the dog on it for a long time, certainly past the point of recovery. There are a few other natural antiparasitics but olive leaf is one of the best and has many other benefits. I was taking garlic, and black walnut powder, and couldn’t get much to happen until I added aloe vera juice for alkinilization of the human body. Within two days of aloe vera juice I was expelling heavily, later I changed to Olive leaf instead of aloe vera juice. Olive leaf and parsely are also alkiline. He needs to read the Olive Leaf book $5.95 to releive his fears and then use olive leaf and oregano properly daily for a year or so. I experiment with the syphilis history/diseases and I consider all such diseases as the same creatures and I personally would use the best of the best, but olive leaf and oregano would be good enough. I have read that Olive leaf Ext works againts Helibacter pylori infection. I have no experiance just read it in the book called Olive leaf ext. And have seen it on line. It said, ”Olive leaf extract demonstrates antimicrobial activity against Campylobacter jejuni, Helicobacter pylori and Staphylococcus aureus [including meticillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA)]. ” Might be worth checking into. I can recommend using Olive Leaf Extract. I have used it for years to knock down infection. I use 4 caps every 12 hours for an acute illness such as you are describing. I had a neighbor who had chronic sinus infections and sinusitis. She always was at the doctor getting another round of antibiotics. I just now found it when I looked up your earlier post to get a list of your recommended herbs (CZ’s notification process leaves much to be desired in recent months, at least for me). I certainly like pau d’arco, but are you saying that olive leaf is no better than green tomatoes or raw red potatoes? Or that it’s only benefit is as a protease inhibitor? Or are you referring to it’s benefits only in regards to cancer? Plus I would use a toddy of warm water, say a cup, with a tablespoon or two of honey and a tablespoon or two of Apple Cider Vinegar, the real kind with ”mother” in it.
