”What Causes Lupus?
We don know what causes lupus. There is no cure, but in most cases lupus can be managed. Lupus sometimes seems to run in families, which suggests the disease may be hereditary. Having the genes isn the whole story, though. The environment, sunlight, stress, and certain medicines may trigger symptoms in some people. I can’t take lupus drugs because of the strongyloides. When my immune system is suppressed, they go into hyperinfection, which is more deadly than the lupus. I didn’t know why the lupus drugs made me so sick until I was diagnosed with strongyloides. I can never take any sort of steroids, which is mostly what is used for lupus. Believe it or not, they are testing albendazole for use with lupus. It makes me wonder if some cases of lupus aren’t caused by parasites.

Re: Anyone treating their Lupus naturally?
by charkee 10 y
Lupus is considered incurable, but this is because science works from the physical perspective and believes in a Newtonian -physical disease must have a physical cause.
When I work with Lupus I work with the emotional issues behind it. In all cases so far I find intense feelings of self criticism and feelings of unworthiness. When all these emotions are released the Lupus goes away naturally and you will feel much more confident and powerful.

I don’t think that is necessary unless you have very specific, parasite-related symptoms. Every living thing has parasites. Healthy individuals don’t experience symptoms because their immune system keeps them in check. Anyone with comprised immunity (lupus, Lyme, cancer, Crohn’s disease) has parasites. If you have lupus you most certainly have parasites. Could be what caused the lupus...

Lupus and probiotics

Hello everyone,
I am soon to be tested for lupus, and wanted
to ask if others with lupus reacted to probiotics?
Lupus runs in our family.
I have used probiotics off and on for a long time,
then about the time I started to get sick from the sun,
I started to get sick from the probiotics I was taking.
It is not a healing crisis, it is like a lupus flare
when I take them now. SO ill like fire burning all over
me.
Do probiotics stimulate the immune system?
that is not somehting I want.
I am going to try Apple cider vinegar maybe.
thanks,

Lupus can be a devastating disease. To the medical community, lupus is one of the three ”mystery” diseases that have them baffled as to their causes or any cures (the other two being fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.) Have you ever considered any other route causes. My Doctor told me that the symptoms of Candida are very much like Lupus and if he establish’s that I don’t have Candida, he will start tests for Lupus. I had never heard of Lupus but I have since read on the internet that Lupus can cause Candida, so I could have both. Amazing what you learn on the internet. You may want to check out the website: www.lupus.org.
Hormones certainly play a role. Although they claim silicone is probably not a cause, I find it interesting that so many women with the Mirena develop Lupus, or symptoms of lupus and are tested for it (myself included).
Many women also develop other autoimmune diseases or symptoms. Just seems like too much of a coincidence to me that so many women seem to have an autoimmune response to the silicone in the IUD.

I have found acanthamoeba in the eyes of one of my clients.
It only causes ”stringy mucus secretions” in her; which are not of any particular clinical importance other than the fact this amoeba usually causes sever symptoms and infection.
I am now considering the idea that this microbe may have an epimiological connection to Lupus.
The microbe could theoretically cause stealth chronic disease, including all or most of the Lupus symptoms by independently activating sub-systems of the host immune responses. That is not to say the m ...

Lupus is an autoimmune disorder of mostly unknown origin. It often has a characteristic ”malar rash” that shows up on the cheeks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lupus
What I find intriguing is that at the onset of my ”Adrenal Fatigue”, or when it was getting dramatically bad so that I finally noticed my body was having some kind of problem, I had an array of symptoms, and at least a couple that resembled lupus. I was starting to get a malar rash and photosensitivity (and joint pain) (and others, but leaving off the non-differential stuff).

No. I have lupus and the drugs still work. A compromised immune system can cause some parasites to go into hyperinfection, because there is nothing there to fight them off. You also have Lupus too? Do you take anything to treat that? That would be a very difficult situation to be in because the drugs that treat that supress the immune system which you need to fight parasites but that’s what makes the lupus damage your organs.
