The ”Sweet Annie” wormwood he is referring to, which he is also saying is the best way to ensure a high Artimisin content..is Artemisia Annua.
I’ve found the Planetary Herbal products are good, and like this one:

What Wormwood Complex are people having the most luck with?
GAIA Herbs Wormwood Black Walnut Supreme
Natures Answer Black Walnut & Wormwood Complex
NOW Wormwood Complex
They all have slightly different ingredients, and am curious what everyone is using, and dosages ?
For instance the Natures Answer says 30-60 drops 3x a day and the GAIA Herbs says 15-30 drops 3-4 times per-day. While both are a 1:1 extract.

this could be dirofilaria immitis (they are truly nasty and all over the body) - they get killed by wormwood so you may try the wormwood test - take a larger amount of wormwood tincure (30=60 drops) in small amount of pineapple juice and then wait - if you feel them making noise in your stomach and then if you feel them dieing then if I would be you I’d continue taking additional wormwood with your humaworm capsules

Every single person I’ve ever heard that had a bad reaction from wormwood took too much or took it for too long. You should never take wormwood at higher than the prescribed dosage and never for more than 4 weeks. If you do, you can have neurological problems.

It is not fair to compare wormwood to a drug. wormwood is an alkaloid? Last time i heard wormwood was herb with alkaloids in it. This makes it MUCH different than taking a drug that has isolated alkaloids in it. Whenever you take just one thing (like alkaloids) out of a plant and start using it as a drug you will have problems. Wormwood is a whole plant with hundreds of different compounds in it, and should be look at as a such.
I can not tell you what to fear or what to do, or what will happen if you do take wormwood (if you fear it, it very well might hurt you. The mind is a powerful ...

Safety Concerns About Wormwood
by irastus 21 y

Wormwood is one of the three main parasite killers in Clarkia and many other products.
Wormwood = Artemisia absinthium, which was used to make the illegal drink Absinthe. Wormwood has hallucinogenic properties and is classified as a convulsant !
When I take a bunch of wormwood, I do feel a bit ”high” and colors take on a strange vibrancy. It also appears to raise my blood pressure. Is it truly safe? Can a parasite program be effectively followed without wormwood (substituting GSE, Citricidal, the Zapper)?

Ignoring any issues of nursing or pregnancy -- both of which should cause some pause for those who want to try herbals -- there’s many herbs with anti-parasitic qualities. Wormwood has some good effect in this regard, but I suspect that the very nature of its name -- ”WORMwood” -- causes some to think that an anti-parasite treatment without this herb is somehow missing something, and may not be effective. Not so. One very good -- and simplified -- option would be to just choose a reputable, name brand ”gastrointestinal parasite formula” without wormwood, entrusting the formulation to that ...

I’ve been a medical herbalist for many years and while I do like wormwood for parasites, I NEVER recommend taking wormwood on its own, especially in several doses throughout the day. It potentially has psychoactive properties and has an unpredictable activity in some. It is best used in very small amounts along with a formula containing the antifungals you have described already.
The psychoactivity of wormwood is caused by a chemical called ”thujone”. Thujone concentrations can vary significantly between wormwood species, strains, and individual plants, and some wormwood formulations ma ...

Re: Parasites & my mental state, plus ? about amalgams
by TurboC 18 y
If the product has wormwood, that was the likely cause of any mental effects. I took Paranil for 2 days and sent it back, cause it was intolerable. I just received the Hulda Clark Cleanse One (small portion), mainly for the black walnut/cloves, but I figured I would TRY the wormwood capsules one more time, after I start the others OK. This time, the only thing in the wormwood capsule is wormwood, male fern and quassia. So once I take one, I should be able to determine if it is the wormwood causing the effects. Paranil had about 30 ingredients, so it was hard to know what to blame.

Sorry my bad. I want to do the parasite cleanse first.
That’s why I posted the Kroeger WormWood combination.
For the parasite cleanse it asks for Wormwood, Cloves, And Black Walnut.
Clark says
Black Walnut Hulls (from the black walnut tree)
Wormwood (from the Artemisia shrub)
Common Cloves (from the clove tree)
For the Parasite cleanse.
So instead of individually buying them. Does the Kroeger give the correct amounts and stuff I need to parasite cleanse?

Wormwood is a narcotic analgesic. In small controlled amounts - along with other herbs - it is EXCELLENT for parsite removal. But - if too much is used for too long - it can create mental disturbances.
Wormwood is the flavoring/coloring agent in the liqour Absinthe. It is what gives it its distinct green color. Wormwood contains a natural chemical called ”thujone” - the thujone has healing properties - but it can also be habit forming.
I like to say that using wormwood is like using bleach when whitening clothes. A little bleach in a load of clothes will remove stains - too much ...

I have been using Clark’s parasite program and some other of the herbs she suggested for more than 25 years with no problems even when I have taken more green black walnut and wormwood than she called for. She wrote that people could experiment a little with the dosage and back off from a higher dosage if they seemed to develop problems. It is my opinion that wormwood taken in small amounts is not harmful. Taking larger amounths of wormwood over a longer period of time, such as a habit of drinking absinthe, can be harmful.

Wormwood Tea potency question?
by judyj01 13 y

Hey guys,
I recently purchased ”Herbal antibiotics” by Buhner which is a great book. He has a recipe for ”wormwood tea” for expelling parasites. The recipe is:
2 oz dried leaves wormwood
2 quarts of water
I made the recipe today but after drinking half a cup i realized that i used ”wormwood powder” and not the ”leaves” I am sure that the powder is a lot more potent. Does anybody know what the equivalency of 2 oz dried leaves would be when in powder form?
Thanks,

It sounds like die off to me. I suspect if you keep going forward with the wormwood, the movements and symptoms will get less. That will be your confirmation. If it really were the wormwood, it would get worse the longer you take it. If it is parasites, it will eventually get better.

by TC-12 19 y
While ”food herbs” such as garlic and oregano oil are relatively safe and can be bumped up in terms of dosage, wormwood is widely recognized as a mild poison which shouldn’t be taken for more than a couple weeks. Long term use can damage the central nervous system, and many countries have banned the sale of wormwood. Accordingly, I wouldn’t suggest increasing the recommended wormwood dose. I would think the other two ingredients to be less problematic.

BTW: Their Artemisia/Wormwood Combination test best of all in artiminisin content.
Also those using wormwood have to remember to drink grapefruit juice to allow absorbtion of wormwood past the initial 3 weeks.
EDIT: Also keep in mind, if the herbs are irradiated as they are by some US carriers they are useless.

- Wormwood works it helps to take out lead and kills malaria as well as critters throughout. The problem is finding high Artiminisin content wormwood and of course the body stops absorbing it after about three weeks of use unless you add grapefruit juice to it.
Could be that repeated use of wormwood also requires grapefruit or a mix that contains the enzyme needed for absorbtion.
