I have been reading the messages here. I tried the P&B Shake yesterday morning and I couldn’t last until the afternoon -- the consitpation from the shake made me so sick that I rushed to the store and bought the Renewlife’s CleanseSmart and took 2 capsules as soon as I got it and took another 2 at bed time. I felt much better now but still feel some constipation. I am wondering how many people here have really benefited from the P&B Shake alone. I tried RenewLife’s CleanseMore the other day and it was great. It contains magnesium, cape aloe, rhubarb root, slippery elm, marshmallow root, and triphala. The magnesium (I think) even made a headache I was experiencing at the time subside. (I made my own Intestinal Formula #1 and it was strong with the senna and other laxatives but CleanseMore is more gentle, yet effective.) BTW, thanks for sharing all of the great information! I am not sure but I think Renewlife products are created to help with constipation but not really to get rid of mucoid plaque. However I have read a post regarding Paragone helping to pass some mucoid plaque. I have read very good comments about Paragone. The ingredient in clean FiberSmart is Flax seed. Richard says Flax seed is really good. I agree with him but I believe that if your objective is to get rid of mucoid plaque instead just improving with constipation, psillyum husks would be better. Hello, I am taking RenewLife’s FiberSmart as an introduction to more fiber before I add in the bentonite. Psyllium is too hard on my system to take. My question is will this kind of non-psyllium fiber interfere with supplement absorbtion if I take them at the same time? especially if it is without the bentonite? ie. do all supplements need to be taken away from fiber? Hello Maxwellob! I am new too and I am learning quite a bit everyday being on these forums. As far as your metabolism goes I imagine that once you start cleaning up your body that it will start functioning normally. There are certain products I’ve seen that help with digestion. You should start with a BOWEL CLEANSE first, then the PARASITE CLEANSE. Actually I think they can be done together but me personally I would do a few weeks of bowel cleanse and then add the parasite cleanse depending on how well you are eliminating. Yes you are right. Some websites have the wrong information about ingredients. About the doses with P/B shakes: More is not better. Please take the lower recommended doses. Keep on that doses several days. (4 at least). but not to that extent. I started on RenewLife’s CleanseSmart and my stomach started cramping really bad. I only felt better when I lied down in the sauna of all places! I would talk to both and M.D. and a holistic practitioner about what your husband is experiencing that way it will give you some insight. To me, it doesn’t sound normal what he’s going through. I did my first round of ParaGone(because of intense anal itching), then during the 5 day break I did Hulda Clarks liver flush, then did the 2nd round of two weeks of ParaGone. During the 2nd two weeks of ParaGone, my bowels moved the best in years and the anal itching disappeared completely but returned after the ParaGone was stopped. I wrote to RenewLife, who makes ParaGone and here is an excerpt of what they said. I’ve already finished two weeks of ParaGone, a 5 day break(during which I did the Clark liver flush) then two more weeks of ParaGone. My bowels were doing great. A week later the anal itching returned, as did the sluggish bowels. So I got some CleanseSmart, by the makers of ParaGone, RenewLife. I think because of the Triphala and the magnesium hydroxide, it really got me moving (2-5 Bowel movements a day!) Typically after every meal! which is ideal for a healthy colon. To juice ginger I just cut a small sliver and peel the skin off. You’d be surprised it really isn’t that hard. I put it in the juicer with a carrot and kind of hold it there so it grinds up good. Otherwise a lot of it will fly out into the pulp container. Well it sounds like you need a good bowel cleansing program so you can continue on your road to health. Are you having GB attacks at all? you should ask andreas moritz about your situation, because he can diagnose better. i think perhaps your gallbladder is not working properly to excrete the bile you need to digest your food. this could be due to a clogged liver and/or gallbladder. he will probably recommend a liver/gallbladder flush to rid yourself of stones that may be blocking the ducts. parasites can also cause blockage in these organs, as well as your colon. so i would first get your bowels working properly by drinking plenty of filtered water and doing p&b shakes. then the parasite cleanse, then the liver flush. renew ... 1,290 hits

I’m in a pretty bad shape at this moment. I’ve been preparing for the Schulze’s IF#2 or was going to try P&B first, so I took some magnesium hydroxide formula called cleanseMore by renewlife. I’ve had loose stools while taking the product. After taking it for a few weeks, I wanted to check If I became dependent on it, so I suddenly halted the dose. For the first time in a long time I haven’t had a bowel movement for 1 day. It sure looked like a worm with one end being much fatter than the other. It looked kind of veiny too. It was rubbery and floated. I am so excited it is starting to work better now! The first few days I was disappointed because I was really bloated and was having small BM’s and felt real yucky. I haven’t used Holistic Horizons but I know that many people, no matter what cleanse they do, seem to get constipated the first few days. I used CleanseSmart by RenewLife and the same thing happened to me. I was constipated and was really disappointed. Stick with it though, it does get better. After that first 5 days or so things started working much better for me and then I was having 2-6 movements a day. And as far as your coffee goes, that could be a very good possibility. I started off my colon cleanse using phyllium and Bentonite as suggested until I developed a sensitivity to phyllium(caused headaches.) I switched to a flax fiber based product (RenewLife FiberSmart) and have been using that for a few months at about 1 tablespoon powder 3X per day. I have recently bought some cascara sagrada 100mg capsules (on the label says standardised 25-30%) and it says to take one a day - is this enough or should I increase the dosage? I am also taking RenewLife CleanseMore capsules - 2 a day(containing aloe, rhubarb root, slippery elm, marshmallow root, and Triphala), as well as a physillium hhusk product. I have heard that you shouldn’t take physillium for too long, but am just wondering how long is too long? Is it safe to take for a month non stop? Any advice would be very gratefully received! Hi Deep6, If you consult the plethora of literature out their on mucoid plaque and its removal for the human GI the vast majority of sources will say that for successful removal one needs to either take a herbal concoction to help soften, loosen and remove the plaque from the colon walls (Holistic Horizons, Ejuva, Arise & Shine) or use bentonite (Arise & Shine, Schultze, Bernard Jensen). Psyllium alone will do not much good. Psyllium is a soluble fibre and its role in a cleansing protocol is to pull waste through the colon. Hi all. Well I am on my 17th day of the BP’s. Before doing this I completed a one month bowel cleanse by RenewLife (CleanseSmart and FiberSmart) I had pretty good results with that but no hard mucoid plaque really, just a lot of soft mucous. My first day of BP I only took one dose, then I increased it to two for 6 days with good results (2 good movements a day with small pieces of mucoid plaque) so I decided to increase it to three on the 7th day and stay at three, however, three doses made me constipated so I cut back to two again. Hi, I’ve actually been reading this list serve and trying to do a few cleanses over the past few months. I’ve concluded that I have some type of irritated bowel syndrome, or at least that my digestion and elimination is quite sensitive. (Part of this is because I have pinworms, which I’m also trying to cleanse). At least half the time, my stools are watery and have undigested food. Does anyone have any advice? Hi P tree, Thanks for your response! Weak colon must be my issue, as this is the same thing that happened to me with the p&b’s--stuff just wasn’t flowing. I had watery bms prior, so this would make sense. Now I’m taking Triphala which seems to help things to move, will try drinking more water and eating more fiber, though I feel I do a lot of both! I eat veggies & grains but also regular protein such as chicken and fish as it just makes me feel much better than grains--they seem to make my bms so sticky. Hi everyone. For the last week or so I have had terrible gas....very stinky....I practically knock myself out...LOL! I am wondering what is going on? In the past (before bowel cleansing), if I got this bad of gas it was from eating too much garlic or not being able to have a BM. But I have had neither of these things. I stopped taking the Bentonite two days before this gas started and have just been using the psyllium. Do you think this has anything to do with it and if so why? Hi Scott, I see you’ve got some good info already. I started CleanseSmart with FiberSmart (by RenewLife) as my first cleanse. Basically it just made me go more, I was noticing rubbery like mucous but nothing hard. So after I finished that I started the BP shakes; I’ve been on them for about 25 days now and I’ve been getting lots of mucoid plaque like the pictures! And they can be all sorts of different colors. I’ve seen really dark brown almost black, brown, yellow-ish, gray....it’s a rainbow! The magic dose for me thankfully is only 2 doses a day. 3 constipates me and I drink tons of wate ... 1,556 hits

PTree, that is so awesome! I am so jealous (in a good way of course!) I would love to have such a wonderful experience as you have. I am fairly new to the cleansing. I’ve done one month of CleanseSmart (RenewLife) and that worked pretty well, I did get lots of soft rubbery mucous out but nothing like the pictures. I then added Bentonite the last few days of my cleanse (w/o the psyllium) and ended up getting constipated. Right now I am doing nothing and my body is starting to function at about 2 movements a day. They are thin in diameter though. I know I must have mucoid plaque and want SO ... 4,259 hits
