yes, it has indefinite shelf life. in fact, you can mix up a highly concentrated batch, and then just add a specific amount of that to each liter of water. for instance, if you added ten grams of electrolyte to one litre of water, then you could pour ten ML of this solution into 900 Ml of water and this will give you the necessary one gram of electrolyte per litre of water. this will save time since you dont have to measure out one gram for each litre of water. ... ... if you find it too acidic then use the adjusted recipe of .9 grams of K citrate and .1 gram of potassium bicarbonate per one li ...   [retrieve this message]

ALS is a nerve deneration disease and has been linked with high glutamate levels. glutamate is a naturally occuring amino acid and nuerotransmitter that can become toxic if levels are too high. glutamate opens the cell wall to pass a message from one cell to another, however when glutamate levels are too high, the cell wall stays open for far too long which causes calcium to flood the cell and the cell may then die. ... ... there are two ways to avoid glutamate toxicity - first eliminate ALL forms of MSG, the second is to cut way back on all foods high in glutamate. i have blended wheatgrass with some success. but remember, the reason cows can eat grass is that they have four stomachs. during its journey thru these stomachs the grass is slowly fermented and broken down over time. we have only one stomach, which is why eating grass is difficult for humans. the cellulose wall of grass is very tough and difficult to break down, thats why we juice it - the powerful gears of the juicer break down the wall and extract the yummy juice, something our stomachs are not capable of. ... ... so i think juicers are better at extracting the juice from grass, but blenders ...   [retrieve this message]
