The question still is if that is all that much of a problem. There is an EC patient in the facebook group who has left her lips alone for 5 months who still has gotten significantly better even while going swimming in the sea (snorkling!), trimming the skin and just letting it come off. If the skin comes off a little bit "too early" by moisturizing them, I don't think it should be all that much of a problem (at least when looking at her case). Daily peeling and picking is much more of a problem.
