...If you are afraid, or depressed, at the (apparent) truths you uncover as you search for answers, it simply means that you are on your way to discovering much more.
Fear is not a 'normal' state. Fear makes you, and me, very, very ill.
But, every once in a while each of us gets a glimpse of what we are really capable of.
I remember a time when a young married couple was lost in deep snow where their truck was stuck.
They came up with logical, inspirational ways to carry their baby out on a plastic dry cleaner's bag, Dad put momma and baby in a tiny cave they found, and she shielded the little one with her body, feeding him with drops of melt she had created...while poppa went for help.
The story brought tears to my eyes, partly because, at the same time...
...A pitiful young man in Seattle was asking to be put to death for torturing little boys to death.
The comparison of the two stories seemed to make both better.
...Great bravery and love erased horror...I don't really know how.
There is another story I happened to notice on TV...
The five years I have been on CureZone I've
'seen' atrocities throughout history which I can't seem to correct or erase. Sometimes I have felt very sad.
Then it dawned on me that, inside my head, I simply forget the past, or future, sins of the world. Inside my head there is no such thing as time. I can simply imagine the truth being discovered BEFORE the sadness.
Yup. It sounds silly, but it works.
So, every time I feel that woeful feeling creeping over me, I try to remember the mental switch which allows me to think differently...toward solutions.
This morning I was thinking about Blueciel and the discovery that some corporations, in their quest to control industries, and our feelings, have missed the point that WE control our feelings...always.
Also, in their huge effort to advertise themselves into our heads, compel us to buy their stuff, think the way they want us to, they are making mistakes. They expose what they know in their rush to cover their tails. We don't even have to say anything.
I remember, on TV, eleven dignified executives in fine business suits, one after the other... "I believe that smoking tobacco is NOT addictive."
If you find yourself feeling even a little afraid, laughter helps...even when there is nothing funny going on.
Laughter has even cured serious ailments. One guy got himself kicked out of hospital for laughing out loud whenever he could remind himself to do so.
No one gets kicked out of hospital before they are much improved.
I read his story in the Readers' Digest, years ago...so it must be true...eh?
