Fasting: Water Only

I'd say go for it! IMHO, water fasting would be a wonderful entry into the Master Cleanse. I consider the lemon to be a miracle food. It, like no other fruit, seems to impart a magical energy.
According to one source: "Lemon is one of the only foods on the planet that has more anions than cations in its atomic structure."
Here's the link for, and further information regarding, that quote.
So, I'd suggest, water fast for as long as you can, and then begin the Master Cleanse! I'm not a purist, by the way, and Master Cleansers, the world over, would come out of the woodwork if they heard me say this, but: I'd substitute the maple syrup for Really Raw Honey, a particular brand of raw honey. Truly raw honey is one of the greatest sources of enzymes if not THE greatest. Again, that's just what I'd do. Others swear by the maple syrup.
As for getting through a water fast, I, personally, succeeded the first few days by the skin of my teeth. It was so hard for me that I had to make a daily chart, marking off each hour that I'd survived. Every hour that passed, I considered a major victory. Ha!
Others, however, find it MUCH easier. You probably would, too!
Good Luck! Post your results!
