one of the single largest issues for obligatory omnivores is finding decent, free range meat... and animal fats.
The vast majority of animals are raised in confinement feedlot operations, where they are loaded up with GMO, cide ladened feed, waste products and antibiotics for the sole purpose of getting them to a sale-able weight in as few weeks, or months as possible... and nearly every single animal is *sick* when sent to slaughter even though they may only be weeks or months old at the time.
That in itself is scary.
As I stated, I do believe regardless of blood type, one can be a vegetarian... however, the more of a protein type you are, the harder it may be... but there are things out there like quinoa and such that can help greatly.
But now, I have read that the boom in quinoa has attracted *big agra* into the quinoa trade, and that as a result, the nutritional value of quinoa is falling rapidly... *they* are looking to chemical fertilizers and stuff now, including GM, rather than looking at replenishing the soils in many cases... that is the sad state of food these days.
Something makes a big hit, and is healthy initially... and 5 - 10 years later it has degraded in food value to not much more than crap due to big agra and biotech pushing their way in.
