Re: master cleanse "Can't take Maple Syrup"

This is my sixth cleanse in nearly three years as a strict Vegan and I must say that I have not found anything more powerful! At this present time I'm approaching day ten of a twelve day cleanse. I always follow the book pretty much to the letter. Fortunately for me I have not experienced any ill effects other than occasional cramping caused by the laxative tea prior to elimination. Other than that, I feel fine throughout the entire process. For those of you who may experience difficulty w/MC process, may I suggest to you, if you don't already have one, acquire a copy of "Master Cleanse" by Stanley Burroughs. Read it from cover to cover. There is a section dedicated to persons who may not be able to tolerate Maple Syrup. The author of this book offers an alternative sweetener for the "Lemon Aide" mix in those cases where Maple Syrup cannot be tolerated. Hopefully that would prove more suitable for you.
