thank you all for being here and your kind words....
I actually ate my soaked prunes and figs last night...wanted to have my digestion prepared for today and also wanted just to TASTE SOMETHING!
I ate about 5 of each at 12:30AM, then again at 1:30 and polished them off at 2am.
Came out this afternoon, pretty much the same way they went in...you could smell the prunes...guess my digestion is back!
TOday I started with 2 large glasses of Tangerine juice my hubby squeezed for me!
I also had some watermelon, but it tasted bad...rubbery, so I decided to put it all - YES the whole thing in a blender with 2 bananas.....shared it with him, I had about 2-3 large glasses.
For dinner I will have a LARGE, DARK, DELISH Heirloom Tomatoe, that I will cut up with some apples and maybe..we will see, organic grapes.
OR maybe I'll just eat it like an apple!!!
Funny thing, on ALL my juice fasts I am RAVENOUS once I begin eating, Usually eating WAYY too much when breaking..but this first water fast has been a very different experience..even on it....
Juicing I used to just CHUG down 4-5 cups of juice all at time no problem, water, I didn't even feel like drinking, I was probably dehydrated even..just sipped the water...
Juiceing upon breaking I eat and eat and eat...
Water - not even very hungry.
I really have no cravings for any grains YIPPIE!!
BUT I am still on vacation...when I get home THAT will be the kicker!!
Luckily, I am only home for 4 days them I leave for Orlando to run the marathons with my running club...We are staying on the DIsney resort..do you think they can order me 2-3 bags of oranges so I can juice them?
I will be packing a carry on FULL OF FRUIT!
I have been reading the book OVERCOMING BINGE EATING and just bought the APPETITE AWARENESS BOOK on someone recommendation on here..thank you!!
I will let you know how it's going tomorrow,
THe plan is to eat MASHED BANANA with blueberries and blackberries and 1-2 stalks of Celery - I need to get a 10k run in on SAturday morning, and need the sodium. We are going back to COLD Toronto Saturday afternoon.
Hope that is not too heavy...
I usually put Pomegraten seeds,but none here, so berries will have to do..I have been craving this for DAYS!!
