EVERY. TIME. I try falling asleep, my body finds a way to wake me up fast. Then I go into a full-blown panic mode no matter how calm I felt at first. I went into panic mode just awhile ago for a whole 1-2 hours; burning skin (symptom of my anxiety), heartbeat up to 130+, nervous stomach therefore diarrhea, peeing a lot therefore drinking lots of water - then peeing some more, feeling out of my mind etc.
Even though I'm dead tired, I only feel better when I start walking around crazily/using up energy.
I don't know what brought this on other than my fiance and I broke up [he was cheating..], then I became sick with what I thought was the flu for 2 days. I think it took a lot out of my adrenals. And I probably still have viruses lurking inside of me...
I can't even take a Xanax - I get an adverse reaction from it now. This may be the reason for this "stuck in flight or fight mode" in the first place. It's like my body rejects it now. I may be going through withdrawals. Benadryl didn't knock me out like it usually does and I can't use any other OTC drugs because I'm sensitive to most.
I did Yoga for awhile but it made me feel more energized! even though my body is so tired.
Please help asap? I need some sleep before things really start going wrong.
Not interested in hearing about
parasites or anything right now. Plus that will just freak me out even more. My main problem is my adrenals from long-term stress and then depending on SSRI's - not anymore though. Now even Xanax seemed to have done a number on my system...
OK, any replies would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I went to the ER tonight and everything came back normal... as usual. I was just dehydrated despite drinking a bunch of water. Another adrenal issue. ---Oh yeah, but my sodium was high and potassium was low? What does this mean?
