Well you learn something every day. I didn't know coconut oil contained high amounts of iodine.
I'm hypothyroid and use it for frying, roasting etc. I was also going to add black walnut hull powder to my adrenal/thyroid mix. I have one kelp tab a day at the moment which i'm replacing with the black walnut when finished. Going to add 1oz to 4oz licorice and 4oz Gynostemma, plus 1oz of astragulas, macca, schizandra, ashwagandha, Suma, my normal adrenal/thyroid adaptogen mix.
I also take alfalfa powder and amla and acerola seperate. By the way mixing amla and acerola together is not good, goes clumpy. Is this ok. I'm on 3 60mg Armour a day and want to come off over 3 years. Tried before and just get cramps and symptoms come back. So going to take it really really slow this time.
I'm going to take tyrosine as well, and i take bee pollen too, plus vits, zinc, selenium, b vits etc
Any thing else i could add to wean myself off armour and get thyroid working again?
I also plan to start on the lecithin and milk thistle again for liver regeneration for couple months, then turmeric.
