I've just recently read that having Amalgams and oil pulling
are a bad mix.My wife and i have been oil pulling for over a
month and we have both been extremely tired.I'm not sure if
this is realated. We both have quite a few amalgams and apparently oil pulling leeches out more mercury. What should
we do?
It's made my teeth very white and my gums are not bleeding anymore but i just don't want to be oil pulling if it is doing more harm than good.In the beginning of oil pulling my throat and glands were sore and since doing it i have been more tired and i can't really put my finger on the fatigue, might not be related to pulling.I'm going to continue oil pulling regardless just for the fact that my gums are not bleeding anymore tells me something.
I have Amalgams too but I've also found that the enamel has eroded from several of my teeth. They were not like that before Oil pulling followed by washing mouth out with MMS. I suspect the MMS is the culprit. This has made all the Amalgam stick out on the back of my teeth. The dentist says there is no way to put enamel back on the teeth. She agrees one can remineralise them but I don't think that's going to help stop the pain I now have when chewing. My teeth are super sensitive now. She gave me some Tooth Mousse to try and that didn't help the sensitivity.
If anyone remembers, I had an agreement from the local Health care centre dentist here to remove my amalgam fillings and replace with composite but they then decided that they couldn't do that. My doc got involved and they then spoke to the ADA who said it was fine so long as I signed off on agreeing not to sue if I was poisoned with mercury or the composite didn't work well. I agreed but when I finally went there again to start the work, they once again refused saying the DHS had said under no circumstances could they do it.
This struggle has been going on since last November and I'm tired of the issue so I'm taking a break to rethink what I'll do.
By the way, oil pulling has never whitened my teeth or strengthened them in any way. Dentist says some of my teeth are quite loose in the gums. I use sunflower oil with a few drops of oregano oil every day. I've been OP for just over a year now.
Have you tried brushing your teeth with soap? I have not had a caviaty since starting to brush with Miracle II soap.I have been oil pulling for a month and my teeth have lost most of the plaque on them. I have Amalgam fillings and I was afraid using sunflower oil, because the first time I tried it there was sensitivy in the tooth with the filling. I use sesame oil and my gums are pinker and my tongue is clear of the white gunk. Try switching to sesame oil.
