Ive been on Antibiotics for about 2 mo from a UTI that just wouldn't resolve. Also just stopped my birth control and wasn't having a period so my hormones where off, and they even put me on some steroids for a week while on Antibiotics .
That's when i noticed my stool. I have stringy mucus that's white/brown and seems to be wrapped around my stool and almost looks like its holding it together. I looked at the images and it looks like the brown string (like under pictures: Candida thread and candida02 (my stool seems to be in pieces and each one is tightly compacted). Did the sipt test and after being in the water for like two minutes, the water was cloudy and strings from the spit where draped in white and down to the bottom of the glass, with white stuff at the bottom. Just nto sure how accurate that test is. Other symptoms are:
Joint pain, muscle spasms/tightness (legs, arms, hands, stomach), cramping, abdominal pain/tenderness (comes and goes), insomnia, headache, excess gas, excess white mucus in my sinuses (sticky and thick), nausea, constipation and diarrhea (switches back at forth).
Tests: Ultrasounds, CT Scan, Blood tests, xrays
Doctors tell me in fine or its in my head.
Can you have Candida in your stool without a flushing? Are all these symptoms common with Candida? When i told the doctor i was going to take a Candida cleanse, he told me not to because my symptoms don't watch. It's called CandiGone is what I want to take, a natural way. Should I still take it? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you got very salty sweat? Maybe it is a good idea to test for cystic fibrosis.
I'm not sure if it is candida, you have to remember thought that candida could be a secondary infection. It is good to treat it then of course, but you have also to look for the cause. Which could also be Antibiotics you took, but the UTI is caused by candida I think (so you've probably had it before the antiobtics).- Re: Candida in stool ninjai

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,347,586I haven't had a TFT test but I can talk to my doctor about it on Thursday. I don't think i have cystic fibrosis because i would have had symptoms before (that is usually caught young age, even as an infant). These symptoms just recently started. I have a feeling its Candida and Lyme disease. I had all the symptoms of Lyme disease, even the freaking rash after a series of bites on my leg. But the doctor told me it was probably fungal and it would go away, and it did. but then the symptoms started. I have a new doc and my apt is Thursday, i think I have Candida also based on the mucus in the stool and the spit test, but i wasn't sure. most people talk about the stuff in the stool after a cleanse.

Doctors don't have a clue about lyme disease on how to handle with it. When you get a EM spot, you need immediately antiobiotics for a couple of weeks. How longer you wait how worse it will get.
How long was it ago?? If you had for sure a EM spot you have Lyme disease. And you'll need Antibiotics . Ask about this in the Lyme section.
I wouldn't worry that much about candida now, worry about the Lyme disease. Do a specialised test (so also a Western Blot!!!). Also test for co infections. But if you had a EM spot it's for sure you have Lyme disease.
Go to a specialised Lyme doctor. I don't know one in your place (live in Netherlands).
It's important to not wait long with treating the Lyme infection and just 3 days or so Antibiotics won't do any.
You need to get treated acording to the ILADS protocol! (see google)- Re: Candida in stool ninjai

This is a reply to # 1,347,589Thanks. That's why I have my new doctor. My old one wouldnt give me the test so I found someone else. It's been about 2 mo since the rash. But I was on antibiodics not long after for the UTI. Just dont think it was strong enough. and man did they make me sick. I keep getting worse. It's funny, my OBGYN was the first one to listen to me and get me in contact with another doctor. The other doctors answer was i was depressed. Wanted to punch her. I told her about the rash and she just said, "You looked that up online huh?". then she gave me anxiety pills and sent me on my way. This is the 2nd time getting the test. The first time (from the hospital) they lost the request and never did the test. But I am getting it on thursday.

Notice there are many kinds of Antibiotics and it could be you didn't had the right one.
Keep on pushing the docs, this is important to handle it right now. You're not too late to get cured. But you need to use Antibiotics according to ILADS.- Re: Candida in stool ninjai

This is a reply to # 1,347,597It took me forever to find the courage to take it further. Everyone tells me im being a hypochondriac and that im crazy! My bf, my docs, even my brother said it. After I stopped caring what they thought (trying to hide the fact I was in constant pain) and now hopefully soon ill be ok. I think when they tell me the results, and thats what it is, ill cry.
But should I take the CandiGone for Candida? or wait until everything else is taken care of? Its a natural thing. I just wanted to maybe get rid of that so i know what symptoms are from what. But if you think I should wait then i can deal with it.- Re: Candida in stool Juul
