Hi springy ...
I'm told that mercury likes to lodge in the thyroid and in the brain. That was the case for me. I was diagnosed by an "alternative" diagnostic method that is P.C. based and measures energy within the meridians of the body by way of instrumentation that uses a probe around the cutical of the fingernail. Very cool. The lady who tested me hit the nail right on the head. She even asked me if I was having speach problems as the mercury was in the left hemisphere. I didn't suffer any speach problems at the time, but when I detoxed, I had problems pronouncing "S's" as if to have marbles in my mouth. It lasted for about a month. Her question turned out to be quite valid.
I'm absolutely fine now.
My regime started out with 16 caps per day, split into 2 doses of 8. I did that for 60 days before cutting back. I would leave the cutting back to your own comfort level. You'll know how you feel.
The products you're taking are great for thyroid support in my opinion. I've used them all in the past. For me, the Brown Seaweed Extract was a big improvement, not only for the high iodine, but for the metal chelation. The extract is very concentrated. I think heavy metal toxicity is common, more common than people think. I had it pretty bad because of my dental history. Never get your teeth done at a university teaching hospital. *LOL*
Before I used Brown Seaweed ext, I think I had limited succeess with mercury removal. I suspect that I redistributed mercury for the most part. This is also common when people don't know what they're doing. Myself, I have little "fear factor" and I learn best via trial & error and plunge on thru, so allow me to be the "experienced guinea pig". Use the brown seaweed and keep up the chlorella with in. These two are very good at getting the mercury right out in my experience. BSE (modifilan) is very good for the intestines and we could all use a little love in that area, IMO.
Even with
Amalgam removal, you are apt to have residual mercury. It's even belived that if your mom had
Amalgam and you never had a cavity in your life, you could have residual amalgam, even if it's only the signature.
