By way of personal history, I have had root canals, which sealed the infection in, and also teeth pulled which were infected below the gum. Student dentists at university dental schools have done most of my dental work. The dental brainwashing starts in school. It’s taken me a while to figure out their game and develop some healing strategies. The problem with current dental practices being that once started it’s hard to quit. I have been an oil puller since April of '08. I have lurked here several times and would like to contribute some personal experience, which is just that. Your experience may differ from mine for many reasons. The whole subject of this forum is experimental and should always be viewed as that.
Here are some suggestions which I have had results with.
If you put 100% Tea Tree Oil on the gum where the infection is located, at least twice a day, you will eventually heal the infection, especially if coupled with the internal treatment which follows. I use a cotton swab with a well-moistened cotton end to apply the TTO. You should apply TTO until there isn't any infection present. You can tell if infection is present by pressing your finger on the gum, tooth, or socket or by dental x-ray. If there is infection present you might feel pain, electrical feelings, or a numb fullness that isn't tissue (kind of hard to describe). This is an external treatment, although I applied it directly into the empty socket when I had one pulled. I try to get it into the canal of just filed
root canals however the dentist usually isn't willing to let me do that. TTO has a penetrative property and it is effective against many viruses, bacteria, fungus, and some parasites. It seems to be safe to take internally, in small doses, if it is of good 100% quality. It may upset the stomach if swallowed. I don't advocate sipping it, but have personally ingested a 1/2 dropper full on several occasions without any toxic symptoms. I post this info so you won't fear putting TTO inside your mouth.
The internal treatment I use is good quality 5PPM
Colloidal Silver . I built up to about 1 tablespoon, swizzled around the mouth like an oil pull, until you have a fairly full mouth full of saliva. Then swallow the mixture. Once a day was sufficient for me. I had a 10 year old root canal, which had a load of infection sealed into the bone at the end of the killed tooth. I saw the infection on my x-rays. I took CS for a few months and the infection went away, both on the x-rays and by palpation on the tooth and gum.
Oil pulling with sesame oil is incredibly healing, with many reports of abscesses being healed by OP here on this forum. I would be oil pulling all through any healing process that might be going on with out question or reservation. That being said, I also haven’t had dental work, abscesses, or tooth infections since I started oil pulling. I have developed the above suggestions as a personal healing strategy and they work on me. I don't tell the dentist what I do unless he is receptive to alternate treatment. They always know something is up after I swig some TTO during their treatment because of the smell. That always leads to some creative verbalization on my part.
Good luck on your healing adventure! I would like to thank all the people who contribute their knowlege here. I find really good info on this forum from its great supportive members.
