For those contemplating the collective subject of situations that are and are not going on in the world around us, to include situations going on and not going on in the skies above us, this might help put into perspective what by comparison is our limited capacity for intelligently discussing such topics. Have a look at what once was passing as the standard of measure of an average child's capacity for intelligence ... what we modern folks may have evolved to think of as ratio .... quota ... share .... magnitude .... "quotient". Considering the range of challenges once required to be solved along the successful path to graduating to the next degree - 9th Grade no less, our view today of what constitutes intelligent answers to some of the same problems posed over 40,000 yesterdays ago - like "explain" climate", may no longer be relevant, but at least the questions are.......PSST, word to the wise, you may not want to speak this too loudly around the wrong kind of inconvenient crowds, but as an aside, anybody else notice how the state of Kansas as of 113 years ago indirectly acknowledged itself to be subject to "extremes in climate"? HA HA!
PS - what does one make of the fact that a modern institution of higher learning was unable to present this test in a form free of spelling errors or other typographical / grammatical errors?
