I had c-diff a couple of years ago. I also noticed white specks and orangey colored bowel movements. I got over the diarrhea pretty quick but was mostly bothered by constant nausea, food intolerances , especially lactose, and a feeling as if I had swallowed a metal spoon which had settled in my stomach. A round of flagyl helped some but it just took time for me to get over it. I actually started smoking again out of desperation because I read that nicotine could cure IBS or colitis. After two years of being miserable I smoked about 3 days and my symptoms were gone, but I definitely do not recommend this due to addiction issues.

Flagyl is specific for protozoal bugs, not worms or flukes. Protozoans are about the size of a bacteria, in which you could not see with the naked eye. But apparently Flagyl must be prescribed for C. Diff.

I had white specks appear following a round of diflucan which is an anti fungul... maybe the white specks are the result of the c. diff infection.

Staying on a probliotic would help, I wuould consider the enteric coated ones like dr. ohhira's formula and EPS from Jarrow and I heard that Culterelle is good.

I would also consider Colostrum from NOW ... to help the environment and you may want to consider some charcoal (slurry) you can buy it in bulk powder from tom harrelson or others. the charcoal will soak up toxins... this is probably the cause some of the side effects that you describe

I looked up flagyl, and I couldn't find the reference that I remembered reading quite a while ago. I believe that in addition to being an anti bacterial, it's also anti-helmethic (good for killing worms, ie helmenths). It's quite possible that if what you have are white grains of rice looking things you could have a tape worm infection.

The white specks could be a lot of other things as well, this is just based on my experience. It could also be intestinal plaque, stuff that sticks to the wall of the intestine, and what you could have is calcium stained plaque. It sounds like the flagyl is killing off some sort of parasite, based on the gas, usually when you do pass a parasite in stool, it really stinks, very foul smelling, and there is lots of gas. Usually you are aware that you've got something unusual in the stool, and it's very uncomfortable to pass it.

If you have medical insurance, you might want to try to get a culture done, that way you would find out for sure what it is.

specks I see/read to be part of family of mongelleons.(created in bioterrism labs and
goes hand and hand with lyme disease).

a while. That is why one must do many kinds. The parasites become immune to this

have you read anything regarding Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ? by Jim Humble. Make sure it has jims name written or discussed on the site you pull up cause there are alot of immatators from buying the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement bottle to other Miracle-Mineral-Supplement sites referring to entirely
different supplements.
Jim Humble says that if the mms is weak or not 28% citric you wont get benefits.
He says to get the litmus tape (2 different kinds) to determine the grade.
I found a compound pharmacy with the tapes to test my mms.

i read the stool are money making no helps to patient to pay and pay and pay
no results come from them especially when the stoool specimens gets mailed to wrong
labs to handle parasite testings.

I read a blood parasite testing is good. But I never got to do yet.
This doctor told me that they were more expensive.
Shoot, I would have preferred that test over the stool one.
Becuz some parasites don't even show up in the stool test.

I read your post and your situation sounds very similar to mine. I started getting terrible GI symptoms after having to go on penicillin for a wisdom tooth extraction back in 2014. I had had food intolerances and some gut issues before that for a few years but after that everything went to shit, literally. I couldn't eat and had diarrhea and nausea for months and I lost nearly 10 kg (which is bad since I am already fairly slim). I was even at the hospital and had blood tests, x-rays, a colonoscopy and endoscopy that all came out clear. I even had the basic parasitic panel done but I know those aren't always accurate and can miss things. I was basically dying until a doctor diagnosed me with "an unidentified stomach infection" (she thought it could be C.Diff too since it started after the Penicillin) and put me on Flagyl 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days.

I was able to go to college and function after that for a year, though I still had gut issues. After that I've done functional medicine testing (since all the conventional tests claimed I was perfectly healthy lol) and I showed up with dysbiosis (imbalanced ratio of bad to good bacteria) and Candida. I treated those over the years with probiotics and anti-fungals (I've done both medical and natural anti-fungals).

My issue is that my bad gut problems keep coming back. I've had to redo the Flagyl course every year now for the last 4 years, and even though that is a life saver for me, it still doesn't fix all my symptoms (maybe 80%+ so I can function and live a relatively normal life). I've been seeing a new functional medicine doctor who has put me on herbal Antibiotics /antifungals along with hormone and adrenal support. I just had to redo another course of Flagyl this month and am hoping that will buy me time to get started on the herbal protocol and keep my health steady for a bit again... I really hope it works, I'm going to do another stool pannel after 3-4 months on this and see if it picks up anything new and to see what my situation is.

This stuff is so hard to deal with since no current conventional doctors seem to know anything. During the time I was very ill my family spent fortunes to get me to see all the specialists and do all the conventional testing and I was none the wiser afterwards :/ I'd suggest looking into a functional medicine clinic/doctor in your area and trying to go from there. It's such a long journey but I'm hoping maybe my experiences can help you or someone else out. Keep me posted on your health journey! :)
