What's the best way to release years of accumulated stress? I heard meditation is good - anyone know anything else?

Exercise is my go-to stress releaser by GlacialHealth 10 year 1 of 1 (100%)
I'm a strong advocate of exercise. There is nothing for helping your release the physical buildup of stress and shifting your hormonal makeup. Exercise is what nature designed your stress response to be!
Also, when it comes down to the psychology of stress, exercise makes you feel stronger and more confident about taking on challenges. It helps you get over the worries and doubts that may have built up over time.
I'm also intrigued by the herb, eleuthero. It seems to have a powerful - yet gentle and safe - impact on helping your body adjust to stress and find balance again.
Here are some other tips (along with eleuthero and exercise):

Start Transforming Your Activities – Poor time management is often the result of having too many unnecessary activities throughout the day. Some of these activities, such as watching TV, may not exactly be completely harmful if you can learn how to control how much time you devote to them.
Change How You Do Things – If your days are filled with activities that are essential to your work or family life, but you’re still falling behind, you need to change how you do things.
