Making Lugol's Pretty Inexpensive by #89129 14 year 1 of 1 (100%)

It is pretty simple to prepare your own. I got 175 gm KI and 75 gm I crystals from a US based e-Bay seller. Cost was about $30 including a very high delivery markup. Using 12mg of I daily as the net dose, it should be several years worth of Lugol's 5%.

i have now completely moved away from Lugols as my supplement of choice and take magnascent and SSKI instead.

the more i take magnascent the more i am impressed that it is the best choice for getting the body the elemental Iodine it needs.

and for the Iodide the body also needs, SSKI is the easiest and cheapest way to do that. due to the lack of venues for obtaining SSKI , i am now selling it myself. there is a button at the top of my "ask trapper" forum with instructions for ordering.

thats a good question. buyer beware. the VWT forum does not endorse any vendor whatsoever.

as for me, i have bought from jcrows and breastcancerchoices.org. they are the only ones that i KNOW have what they say they have and give great service you can count on. as i learn of any more i will revise this.

update - john with the magnascent product is another i have tried and like. it is a lower dose but it is effective. much more so than kelp, if one is shying away from the Lugols or iodoral.
