If we could teach our young girls to not speak to any boy or man who disrepects them by calling females bitches and ho's or saying nasty sexua| remarks, we would be a much better nation. But, it is very difficult. Every time I do this, I am called gay or told I need sex or told there is something wrong with me or I am called nasty names. I deal with this nearly every day because of the internet. I am constantly messaged by these types, calling themselves 11inchcock and names like that. I tell them I am Christian and to get a life. They demand that I change my screen name, because they say aharleygyrl is not right. Again, they are disrespecting me and I should be able to have that name if I want. That name was given to me as a joke by a very ill man who I am not even sure is still alive. So, it has special meaning. It's like the old excuse men use for rape, that the woman dressed too seductively. Many women believe that is a mitigating circumstance, too.  I eventually put the guys on ignore, because they just cannot stop saying bad mean things.  I know they are mistaking me for a loose woman and most would blame the woman.  I think those men should be behaving in the first place and they need to learn to ignore things that seemed to be improper behavior.  And, I will say that nowhere on any of my profile does it suggest I want to be approached for sex.  Hey, I am guilty of this, too.  One time someone messaged me and he had 69 in his name and I jumped to conclusions and was upset, only to find out later he only had it inthere because it was the year he was born.

Men run the world, so they have an advantage in stopping it.  But, many men do not get upset about sexua| talk and degrading women.  I would say the world needs more Christian men, but then some of our top evalgelists have been caught with prostitutes.  We also should not have rape in our society, either. The laws should be so strict that it is non-existent. The more men talk nasty and disrespectful and get away with it, the more females become desensitized to it and come to accept the behavior. One thing I absolutely do not understand is why there is a show on cable called Pimp My Ride. That is one of the biggest problem in our society is glamourizing pimps.  It's really too bad that our young women are attracted to boys and young men who refer to themselves as a pimp.  One thing I know for sure, as long as prostitution exists, women as a whole will never get full respect.  We have just moved too far away from the Ozzie and Harriet era for that to happen.  Many say it is harmless.  It may seem that way in many aspects, but not when it comes to women living up to their full potential and being respected.   If men were not out trying to buy sex, the women would not be there.  Men need to stop doing that.  It is accepted in our culture and it shouldn't be.

I really think that is how this whole "ho" thing began.  Men get the wrong idea about women from seeing women getting paid for sex.  So, they want to make all women like that.  Only, they all want to be the "pimp" so that they don't have to pay for the sex and they can make money off the girls doing it.  And, if you think I am crazy, you would be surprised how many young men out there are pimping out their girlfriends or girls or how many are asking young girls who are friends to do this for them.  And, boys also like this "friends with benefits" things where they can have sex with their friends with no emotional attachment.  And, some girls have come to accept this and some even say they like it.  But, we all know females are not set up that way.  It's bad enough that men rule the world of money, but they are also ruling it sexually little by little.  I realize not all men are this way, but those who are not need to stand up and be heard and guide these young men who are lost.

I don't know what to do about our culture as a whole. It is in the toilet as far as I am concerned.  I hear it starts with educating the youth.  I would like to go back to the Ozzie and Harriet days when kids were polite and if one dropped out of school, they were an outcast.
