It's amazing I'm already at the end of my journey! Like said before I'm happy to get back on solids again as the occasional cravings never vanished with the hunger, but it makes me wonder why nothing radical happened, maybe my detoxing was just very slow to start, and unlike most people who experience SOMETHING after day 3, it might've taken me a bit longer? So it leaves me wonder whether I should have a long fast afterall!

Well. I let myself out of my room late yesterday evening to watch a bit of TV, see how other Aussies spent their special day in the capitol cities, and one of my favourite shows, Airport. But for the other parts of the day, and night, I was hiding in my room, sleeping, or packing my stuff, or pacing around in a small circle. I was devastated, but it's clear it was one of these MOOD BOOSTS the fast has brought me.

Lucky me I did watch TV last night as on every advertisement break they told about a big shoe sale at the City Hall, and I thought it must be my last chance to find me walking sandals, so I made a date with myself. So today I got out of the house barely greeting my selfish housemate who finally made his way home, and I had a blast out and about by myself, enjoying the humid hot air and sunshine. I found a nice pair of heels in the sale, and I also went to the museum to see a Miss Australia exhibition, and then I went wandering in the mall for the sandals. Trying to avoid this one booth where the girls were a bit too eager to sell me manicure tools, when leaving almost disappointed that I didn't find me shoes, I spotted this last teeny weeny "shoe gallery", but surprisingly hopeful as I was today, took a shot, and oh yes there they were, my shoes waiting for me on the shelve. Very cute, very comfy, and cheap, to be honest they actually SUCKED MY FEET IN and wouldn't let go, so it was pretty obvious they were coming home with me. I'm happy, now walking is like dancing on air!
