The Winter Cleanse Begins by seunim .....

My newest journey with the Master Cleanse

Greetings...

Once again I find myself back to familiar territory and one of my comfort zones.  Today begins my newest journey with the Master Cleanse.  I have one under my belt at this point and am excited to be doing my second.  For the last week or so, I have been using Oxypowder to start the cleansing process in my colon.  As always, that stuff really does the trick.  I  mentally started preparing for this about two weeks ago, as I personally feel that this is the most important aspect for a successful journey.  Other than that, I didn't do many of the things I did in preparation the first time around.  I will however do two or three liver flushes upon completion of this cleanse, followed by a parasite cleanse.

My goal for this cleanse is to do 14 days, and perhaps as many as 21.  This may seem like an odd time of year to start a cleanse, with the holidays and such, but it works out well for me as beginning next Thursday, I have 18 days off from work, so the timing is perfect.  I took Oxypowder last night before bed instead of starting off with the lax tea.  I'll turn to that tonight.  This morning, I did the dreaded Salt Water Flush.  I had read a number of posts where individuals had modified this, and mixed the two teaspoons of sea salt with a small amount of water, drank that, and then chugged down the remainder of the quart of water.  I figured I'd give it a try and see how it worked.  Frankly,  I will stick with this method from now on.  I mixed the salt with about eight ounces of water and chugged it down in about three gulps.  A piece of cake compared to doing a whole quart.  I then took the next five minutes to finish the remainder of the water.  It worked like a charm.  Within 20 minutes, the familiar butt pee began.  I had forgotten how quickly a BM can come upon you when doing the SWF.  I must remember this for next Monday-Wednesday as I have to work, and time it properly.

I've got loads of lemons, my organic grade B maple syrup, and the 90,000 h.u. cayenne pepper that Zoe turned my on to.  Thanks sweetie ;-)    I am so psyched to be doing this and I look forward to some old friends dropping in and providing the much needed encouragement when doing a cleanse, as well as meeting some new friends.  Perhaps there are some of you out there that are starting your own cleanse and need a buddy to help you along.  Well, I'm here if you are so inclined.
