Still feeling good with some strange new things.

Today is the 9th day of my juice fast and I am noticing some strange little things. Yesterday I had felt like the first have of the day was dreamlike. It is hard to explain but I felt very different in a good way! I notice that I am more sensitive to scents as if my sense of smell is heightened. For the most part, I have not craved any food. Sometimes I do think about what it will be like at the end of the fast when I resume eating solid food but I feel that is very normal. I think I am just concerned about doing it the right way more than anything so that I do not upset my system when the time comes. I have a big family gathering this Sunday for Father’s Day and I am a little worried about that. I am going to have to bring my juicer with me to my uncle’s house because it is going to be an all day event. I will be seeing some family that I haven’t seen in over 3 years. I am not worried about being around all the food because I know I won’t break my fast, but I just do not want to be the center of attention because I am not eating with everyone else. I know that I have to be prepared for the attack from family members that don’t understand what I am doing and I am not looking forward to that. If anyone reading this has any words of wisdom here I would appreciate it. I just don’t want to engage in long conversation with each person in my family having to defend my choice. We’ll see how it goes . . .
I haven’t had a BM for 2 days now so I am going to the store today to get some herbal tea to help with that. I want to make sure that I am getting everything out since that is the whole purpose here. I am a little afraid of getting the tea though because of so many people saying that they cause stomach cramping but I have gone 2 days now and nothing so I have to do it. Hopefully it is not too bad. Other than that, I feel good and I am still very motivated to complete this journey going!
