Shifts and reneges!

This fast is really going to take a long tme - did you know that you can detox from water-soluble toxins in 3 weeks-3 months, but fat-soluble ones can take up to 6 months to detox from? It's as though one were about 200 pounds overweight and just had to be in for the long haul. As I'm thinking about this, I'd like to change my plans a bit. Sorry - I won't do it again. First of all, I was originally planning to "check obsessively" how it was going, with the mirror. You know, I don't think that's such a good idea. It's sooooo upsetting, so lacerating. I think I should be kind and nice to myself, gentle, and give myself a break from the mirror. Otherwise, I'm afraid the fast will become "conditional" - like, if I don't think it's working or don't think it's working as I want it to or according to the schedule I think it should follow, I'd not do it, have a tantrum-binge or something. That just isn't going to work. I have to do this, NO MATTER WHAT. No matter what the mirror says for a long, long time - the long, long months it's going to take before it says something nice. So, maybe thankfully for me and blog-readers alike, I won't be chronicling the mirror report, so much as other things about the green-drinkarianism.

Secondly, I think I'll concentrate on loooooong as long as it has to be, rather than strict. I'll have distilled water, urine, some fulvic acid, some AFA and some fresh grass juice. I'll put RAW agave nectar (the truly unheated-at-all kind) in my green drink if I want to get some carbohydrates - it is 20 calories per tablespoon - therefore, I won't worry about ketosis. This may be a big mistake. We'll see!

Thirdly, I was so worried about my eye infection that I guzzled a whole bottle of (raw) noni juice just now, hoping that might help it heal. I doubt it will, but by my own rules I've gone off my fast. I don't want noni juice on this fast. Although I'm going to continue only having raw vegan juices or green drinks for the rest of today, I am going to start my day one tomorrow. This gives me a chance to have some echinacea tea for the infection this afternoon - I don't want herbal teas on the fast, but will have a pint or two now. So, I'm really sorry but I'll call this Day Zero and start the fast I described above tomorrow! Hopefully having woken up with better sight! See you then. Love, Joly
