Hanging in there

Well, I am almost a third of the way there. I feel good this morning and actually had interest in putting on a different outfit and earrings and shoes.... Other than my usual handful of comfortable clothes. Not that my clothes are really fitting much different at this point but I at least felt inspired to put some effort into my outfit and feel pretty.

I went to the gym and did 30 min of cardio and a few minutes of arm weights. And stopped off at Whole Foods to restock on the organic lemons. I go through about 10-12 lemons a day.

I went out with my friend last night to see her friend sing and play guitar. She was amazing! I didn't have a drink (obviously) which was kinda odd feeling and also interesting observing all the tipsy people. I am used to having a drink or two at social things.... out of habbit. The great thing is that she also didn't drink because she is doing an elimination diet to figure out why she is having certain allergies. So, we were on the same page.

I am going to look into the diet she is on.... I guess there is a book with specific directions that I can order online. She is starting out with beans and brown rice for a week, then adds specific veggies for a few days, then fruit and so on. She can't have any sugar, caffeine, alcohol, dairy, wheat for a while. Sounds like it could be perfect. I am thinking it is highly possible I have an allergy because before starting this MC Fast I had 3 little dry patches of skin on my face that I just wrote off as simply dry skin..... That have been there for 2 weeks. And today they are completely gone.

And I am excited.... got my Oxy-powder in the mail this am! So, I get to do a little experiment over the weekend, which is needed because I am not doing the salt water flushes. Eeew.
