feeling close to normal

Finally I'm feeling a little back to normal! My 8 day marathon period is gone! Thank goodness.

Yesterday I was good with food all day, then got home and the fiance made yummy pasta with meat sauce. Irrisistable. that's like my favorite thing in the world to eat. So I had some (definitely 2-3 servings). Not great.

No alcohol, that was good.

Today I've had 2 x low fat yogurts (60 cal each) a handful of yellow beans, 3 handfulls of nuts, and lots of water.

Got yummies for dinner, org. spinach, a yellow and an orange pepper, yummy organic tomatoes and some avocados. I'm hoping I can stretch this stuff out to last me dinner for three days.

I got on the bike for 20 minutes yesterday instead of going for a run. I just didn't feel good yesterday, haven't since the mother of all periods descended on me.

Today I'm going to the gym, going for 60 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weights. Then I'm off to tan, then home. The tanning is really working - I don't look unnatural, I look golden. Having a friend with a tanning bed is awesome, because I don't have to pay. I don't have to get the most for my $$.

DISCLAIMER: I know tanning is horrible and I'm only doing it this once, to get ready for the wedding. I will never ever ever do it again.

So I'm off to Pittsburgh this weekend for a bridal shower and off to NYC next weekend for hair/makeup/tattoo work, and some major party down good times with my NYC bridesmaid and her sister.

Awesome.

I've been working super hard on music for the wedding as well. Things are really coming together. Today I got my engagement ring back from the jeweler - it needed to be reset - I love hving not one not two but 7 diamonds on my hand. I never was much for jewelery (still can't keep my ears pierced) but I love LOVE this handcrafted ring. I feel like a bride again! Yippee!

Love!
