Rasmus Larssen Alsaker, MD 1883 - 1960

Apparently was a naturalized citizen. A Declaration of Intent is on file with the court in St. Louis, MO.

R. L. Alsaker graduated from Loyola University, Medical Department, with the M. D. degree. He located in Denver, Colorado, and practiced his profession there several years. In 1913 he removed to St. Louis. Missouri. (was still living there according to the 1920 and 1930 census). He has written extensively on health educational topics, especially for "Physical Culture Magazine." He is the author of "Maintaining Health" and "Eating for Health and Efficiency." as well as several smaller books. He is an authority on foods and feeding.

Wife: Lana Anna Alsaker (his wife according to the 1930 census, born about 1877)) She wrote "The Sun-Diet Cook Book" in 1935 (Sun-Diet Foundation publisher) and coauthored “Behold the man…” along with her husband.

Dr. Alsaker was the Health Director of the Sun-Diet Health Foundation in East Aurora, NY (per preface in "Master Key to Health" book).
