I'm sure that if you're reading this you are wondering "how can I get lemon aid without sugar?" well their is an answer!
Lemon Aid when made with sugar uses at least a cup of sugar per pitcher!!
what happens if you are a diabetic and you love lemon aid?
well you just don't drink it, correct? Well! what you CAN use is something called
Stevia! it is a sweet substance that has no nutritional value whatsoever and so Diabetics or sugar sensative people can consume it! so what I'm going to give you
is a recipe for sugar free lemon aid, which is very tasty! here is is:
ingrediants:
1 cup lemon juice(can be found at Wal Mart)
1 heeping fork full of Stevia
8 cups water.
mix ingredients in a pitcher, and serve cold.
you can make it hot, if you have a vita mix then you can
mix it in the vita mix for around 5 minutes(or until hot)
and have hot lemon aid for winter evenings!
enjoy!
