I decided to share this journey because i have gains so much from others who have done so... I find it a tremendous help to read the words of others on a similar journey. it was even more helpful during the first days! I am now in day 7 - felt pretty good, but not high on energy. Friend told me she really needed to get out, and wants us all to go to dinner! yikes! why dinner? I did not want to tell her that i was fasting! I am not crazy about people's reaction to the news. anyhoo, I decided afterwards, that i would not break this fast for anyone. I am doing this for me! so far, I've lost 4 pounds, not as dramatic as some I've heard but still nothing to sneeze at. I dread the swf - but i know that it is an important part of the process. it does get better every day. in the beginning i could not get all of it down. no more than 27 ounces, yesterday i drank all 32 oz for the first time. i would say yipee if i enjoyed it just a little. oh well. tomorrow is another day. I am sure it will have it's interesting insights. Here is a speedy catchup to the first 6 days experience: day 1: felt hungry, but the lemonade did help day 2 - 3 - felt like crap - realy crap - and had no weightloss to show for it, or visible signs that i was doing anything to help myself. day 4: skin began to look a bit clearer - not hungry or missing food as much drank lots of lemonade!!! lots! and recorded a 2 pd loss. ok not bad day 5: recorded another 1 pound loss - feeling crappy again, but not as bad. low on energy. day 6 - another one pound loss - great! need to lose about 40 pounds so if this keeps up this would be grand! felt a wee bit better, but still not feeling that high energy that people write about. I would really like to feel that! alright, thats all for now! My hope is to complete atlease 30 days - but i will make decisions at every 10 day mark. so i will be making a decision in a fews days. to be or not to be, that will be the question
