Fasting Anew:Self forgiveness by ren .....

fasting notes

There are ten days in the Master Cleanse. I screwed up today in the midst of a temporary PMS depression. I'm happy that I made this far. I'm disappointed in myself or WAS disappointed. I just opened Heal Thyself to the chapter where Queen Afua talks about forgiving ourselves when we mess up and to GET BACK IN THE GAME. Thank GOD, thank you Lord, that I have my fiance to cheer me up. Queen Afua says don't let temporary setbacks ruin the path of purification. I've been to the fasting and purification mountaintop and I don't intend to allow myself to get in my way. Did that make sense to you? Most of the time WE are OUR OWN WORST ENEMY. I admit that today I tried to make myself feel better by drinking Starbucks and eating some starches. However, it's now in the past and there's nothing I can do about it. What I can do is keep going, not put the weight I lost back on and focus on my emotions so that my next cycle isn't so tumultuous in terms of mood.

So here's the fast that I am doing for the next TWO WEEKS. I am juicing oranges, grapefuits, yes LEMONS but NO MAPLE SYRUP..I'm so over syrup LOL! However, I'm going to do the tablespoon of molasses because that definately helped with tiredness in terms of iron and other minerals. I'm also going to get a jug of organic apple juice from Whole Foods. Yes it is pasteurised BUT it's organic and I don't want to buy conventional apples, the one of the most pesticide laden crops on the market. I am going to be drinking chlorophyll and wheatgrass as well. I'm doing bentonite and psyllium husks, goldenseal, etc. This kind of fast will give me more energy to go to the gym and train for the marathon in May. I don't have much time either which is why I'm not going the lemonade route again.

More on this later!
