An Upper Back pain at Shoulder Blade level is indicative of liver issues.

Teas: Milk Thistle, Artichoke, Dandelion

are very helpful. You can use the tea or else the supplements: Milk Thistle, Artichoke, Dandelion and Black Radish.
BEWARE: If you are allergic to Ragweed stay away from milk thistle "If you have a ragweed allergy, you should also avoid milk thistle. Milk thistle may cause a rash or lead to severe allergic reaction."

BEWARE: The active ingredientof milk thistle, silymarin, has some oestrogenic activity. This may increase the binding of oestradiol to oestrogen receptors and increase the activity of oestrogen responsive cells. For this reason it may not be advisable to use it in hormone responsive conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids as well as hormone sensitive cancers.

All of the above mentioned herbs are high in potassium and an increase of potassium intake will also help. (Cocoa, almonds, sesame, cachew, parsley, cauliflower, chickpeas, soya [soya-only if you do not have thyroid issue] and more on good sources of potassium:

Otherwise, the treatment is

- The liver flush (Hulda's Clarke grapefruit and olive oil is a good one).
Only liver flush until you see major improvements and then return to bowel/kidneys management to rotate and get back to liver flush again later on.

- The cleansing salad (if you are pregnant or have concerns about the liver flush this is your option). See the cleansing salad post below for the details.

Your stool will indicate the quality of your liver functions
tan colored stool : poor
dark brown : great

UPPER BACK PAIN AND PASSING CANDIDA THREADS

My experience was that, whenever I would be about to see some threads in my stool, I would get such a pain. My guess is that the presence of candida rhizomes in the intestines overstresses the liver, the Liver's energy is spent processing and sorting the incoming toxins rather than eliminating them. In such a situation, by the time the liver is ready to begin flushing toxins out, another flood is introduced to the system and the liver must deal with the new load of incoming assailants rather than continuing the final phase of releasing toxins. From this picture it is easy to see how the liver can become overburdened, congested, and stagnant leading to a need for a period of detoxification. As a hepatocyte protector, the ability of Milk Thistle to guard each cell of the liver (hepatocyte) from incoming toxins is an important and valuable trait given the number of destructive substances our bodies are exposed to on a daily basis.

Dead candida becomes utterly toxic. Licorice tea is great to support the adrenals and to counter this toxic effect. Beware, licorice intake inpairs potassium abosorption so supporting your adrenals might then lead to upper back shoulder pain. Then DHEA or Adrenasense would be options to support your adrenals without inpairing the potassium equilibrium.

MASSAGE
Upper back shoulder pain will also be eased by massage therapy AND exercise.
See your chiropracticien and get moving.

Simple sit ups will strenthen both your abdominal and back muscles while helping your intestines getting a bowel mvt. If you feel this is to omuch exercise due to chronic fatigue, then just lie down and do abonominals with respiration (pushing in while breathing out) and then shoulders up and down exercise - while lying down.
