Michael Pollan, author of "Omnivore's Dilemma"
has been "rooting" for a Farm Bill that is more
a Food and Farm Bill.

Subsidies dictate what grows.
They dictate who eats what.
They influence Obesity among kids
and what foods get into the cafeterias
and our schools.
