"Look up, Hannah. The soul of man has been given wings,
and at last he is beginning to fly. He is flying into the rainbow --
into the light of hope, into the future,
the glorious future that belongs to you,
to me, and to all of us. Look up, Hannah. Look up."
--From "The Great Dictator"
By Charlie Chaplin

The internet is SO very Amazing!

I just got a lovely response from
my friend Munjed.

I had spend yesterday putting up
photos and writing a review of the
El-Fanoun Pasestinian Dance troupe.

Munjeg said he was moved by what I wrote
and sending it to his Arab friends.

That brought some tears to my eyes.

Then I started to think of one of my favorite
brotherhood Speeches.

It is the closing to "The Great Dictator"
by Charlie Chaplin.

Have you heard that incredible speech,
so moving?

There is a WHOLE website where you can read part of
the words, and listen...

I may be mistaken, but I believe
that part of this speech, where Chaplin
playing a Jewish barber, as well as a character
reminiscent of Hilter, calls for all soldiers
to put down arms.

He calls for an end to borders, I believe.

This is a very moving speech.
