Law against Lying needed by YourEnchantedGardener .....

This is the last election that I want to see Propositions go down to defeat due to blatant lies and misinformation given to voters.

Woozy head right at the moment.
Up lots of hours with tons of inspiration
after completing HISTORIC Paciific Symposium
filled with monumental personal BREAKTHROUGHS.

Distracted by listening to NPR just now,
in response to enthusiasm of housemate Norah
who informed me that the Dems could be taking over
the Senate as well.

I make a habit of NOT listening to the NEWS
for months and months now but was informed
of results over the phone by a friend.

It didn't look like the Dems could take the Senate
as well as the House and this was making me a bit
angry. This morning is seems it is possible.

I am furious about a proposition in CA going down
to defeat that would have provided mega bucks
for alternative energy.

The Prop was manipulated by our friends in BIG OIL
who put out scary lies. Most people do not read the fine
print of the ballot that clearly said prices at the pump
would not be raised by the bill, but the PR for BIG OIL
said that it would.

How can we have a democracy that is fair
if lies are O.K. and misinformation?

I refuse to go on without doing something.

I am going to call my friend John Vasconcellos,
former CA Sacramento Senator.

His legacy is the Poltics of Trust organization.

Upcoming Symposium:

There can be no Trust unless we create a law
that fines those who mislead the public with latent lies.

I want to see a fair and impartial board of citizens who
determine wrong doing, and then sent it up for extreme fines
that go into a fund for alternative energy.

This simply will not do!.
