Is it a slogan used by Spiritual trend people and holistic healer?

This sentence been used over and over again, sometime it seemed to me as if it's been used to justify every thing within the fields of Spirituality, Mysticism and Alternative Healing.

To be honest with you, through the years, probably because I began my path when it was not yet known in Israel< , I could see how people developed their power and positions by the use of this word. The use of this sentence by itself gave them the flair of being with some knowledge over helpless people – the people that surely will need to be guided in order to find themselves, their denied selves… (I apology for being cynical but looking into this process developed this cynical view of mine).

It does however have deep roots within a person's needs of realization and awareness in order to allow self-manifestation to be real.

Born child has a potential to reach the heights that the parents never reached. It could become reality if the parents, educational institutes and society were not doing their parts to eliminate the private person's freedom of manifestation by a conscious or unconscious brain washing from birth on. 

So, now, at the age 20-70 years old we realize that something is missing in our life: happiness, stillness, joy, love, companionship, security, roots, self-acceptance and there is that hole within that one may not know what its origin but it's a frustrating hole that wouldn't live us.
