James Charles, a 17-year-old self-taught makeup artist from New York, made headlines (and history) this week when CoverGirl announced that he will be the brand's first-ever male CoverGirl spokesperson. But Charles is not the only boy slaying the beauty blogger game right now. With some Instagram accounts racking up almost 2 million followers, male beauty bloggers aren't just a novelty. In fact, they are changing the way we perceive makeup and proving that makeup doesn't have to be gender-specific. Instead, in the words of Patrick Starr's bio, "Makeup is one size fits all." (You'll find out more about him later.) These guys create wonderful works of art on their faces fit for anyone who loves a little lipstick and eye liner in their lives. We rounded up our favorite male beauty bloggers on social media (and highly recommend you follow them, too).

Thomas Halbert can put anyone's highlighter skills to shame. His looks are so radiant and flawless that he could be mistaken for a mannequin. Halbert'sYouTube channel is heavy on beauty inspiration and laughs. In his latest video, he challenged himself to do a full face of makeup using only Q-tips.

Gabriel Zamora is too cute (and has the makeup looks to match). He pulls offblue hair so well that I'm sort of convinced I could, too. I love how he adds little touches of color to otherwise everyday looks.

With almost 2 million YouTube subscribers, you've probably already heard ofPatrick already. He's one of the OG male beauty bloggers and has even collaborated with some of our favorite stars like Shay Mitchell and Carmen Carrera.

David Sternberg's eye-makeup looks stopped me in my tracks as I was scrolling through Instagram one day. I started following him right away—just in time for his amazing "31 Days of Halloween Makeup" challenge.

I took a poll around the office and asked some fellow editors who their favorite male beauty blogger is. Most blurted out "Manny" without hesitation. And more than 2.6 million people on Instagram agree. If I'm feeling a bit of makeup fatigue, watching his YouTube videos bring me back to life and give me the ultimate glam inspiration.

Alex's special-effect makeup skills are next level. If you don't believe me, watch his "31 Days of Halloween" makeup tutorials on YouTube. He may not be creating the most glamorous Halloween looks, but they are so scary-cool that you won't be able to look away.
