God has given each of us Prerogative {A Free Will Choice} ...

Have you used your free agency?

The Devil & his Demons go about placing people in spiritual chains or bondage...

When you allow your freedom - Liberty to be taken Satan wins...

Through loss of freedom the world falls into an abyss of chaos, destruction, and suffering of unprecedented proportions; which cause perplexity as to things to come, including fear and shaking of nations!

You will have many challenges which lead to both sucess and failures... Everyone has problems, some are winners, others winners... Everyone has been limited or hurt!
So get over the " poor is me " or " you don't know what has happened to me " crap...

- You have two choices either go along with the crowd
{like many in the world today} or learn to step out on your own free choices... Yes there will be failures, but then there will also be victories... Doing nothing is defeat and will never get you any where; only drag you down and keep you in the capacitivity cages of history...

- Fear,
- Salvery,
- Poverty,
- Ignorance,
- Disease,
- The road to eternal destruction...

{There are thousands more}

* At some point in our lives we will ask: How should I relate to God?
I believe this is life’s greatest question. Most people have some concept of God.
Over the years my opinions have covered the waterfront.
I’ve viewed him as a higher power, a creator, a stern judge to be feared or a friend to be loved.
I’ve been a skeptic, a seeker, a cultural Christian and now…well, I’ll save that for later.

** This is meant to encourage you to get out from under the domination of the world...
If you can come to see youself a free to choose your pathway, then you will be able to began the journey to where you will spend Eternity!

Below are some more hero's of the faith or people who thought for themselves and won!

- Fred Rogers The beloved and longtime host of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Fred McFeely Rogers was born on March 20, 1928 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He was an only child until the age of 11 when his parents, James and Nancy, adopted a baby girl.

After graduating from Latrobe High School, Rogers enrolled at Dartmouth College, where he studied for a year before transferring to Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Rogers, who'd begun playing the piano at a young age, graduated magna cum laude in 1951 with a degree in music composition.

During his senior year of college he visited his parents and was awed by the family's newest household addition: a television set. He could see a fantastic future for the medium and, as he'd later recall, Rogers immediately decided he wanted to be a part of it.

Early Career

Rogers' first job in television came in 1953 when he was hired to work in programming by WQED in Pittsburgh, a recently launched community TV station that was the first of its kind in the country.

By the following year, he was co-producing a new program, The Children's Corner. This allowed Rogers, who'd fallen in love with puppetry as a child, to introduce some of his favorite puppets from his home to his young audience.

As his experience grew, so did his aspirations. He earned his divinity degree in 1962, and at his ordination the Presbyterian Church asked him to serve children and families through television. Rogers made his first appearance the following year as Mister Rogers on a Canadian Broadcast System show called Misterogers. The program helped lay the groundwork in its look and approach for Rogers' later show.

Canada, however, was not where Rogers or his wife Joanne, whom he'd met at Rollins, wanted to raise their two young sons. Soon, the Rogers family was back in Pittsburgh, where Rogers launched Misterogers' Neighborhood in 1966. Two years later, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood aired on PBS stations throughout much of the country.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood

Over the course of its decades-long run, Rogers' show varied little. He approached his young audience with respect and a directness about issues children faced that were rarely touched on by other programs.

Ritual and the familiar appearance of some of TV's most enduring characters—including the deliveryman Mr. McFeely, X the Owl, Queen Sara Saturday and King Friday—helped keep the show fresh for generations of kids.

At the center of the show, of course, was Fred Rogers himself, a Protestant minister who worked as the series' producer, host and head puppeteer.

COLONEL SANDERS

From Young Cook to KFC's Famous Colonel
Kentucky Fried Chicken, pioneered by Colonel Harland Sanders, has grown to become one of the largest quick service food service systems in the world - with more than a billion “finger lickin' good” Kentucky Fried Chicken dinners served annually in more than 80 countries and territories. But success didn't come easily.

In 1896 Harland's father died, forcing his mother to enter the workforce to support the family. At the tender age of six, young Harland was responsible for taking care of his younger siblings and doing much of the family's cooking. A year later he was already a master of several regional dishes. Over the course of the next 30 years, Sanders held jobs ranging from streetcar conductor to insurance salesman, but throughout it all his skill as a cook remained.

The Cook Becomes a Colonel
In 1930, the then 40-year-old Sanders was operating a service station in Corbin, Kentucky, and it was there that he began cooking for hungry travelers who stopped in for gas. He didn't have a restaurant yet, so patrons ate from his own dining table in the station's humble living quarters. It was then that he invented what's called “home meal replacement” – selling complete meals to busy, time-strapped families. He called it, “Sunday Dinner, Seven Days a Week.”

As Sanders' fame grew, Governor Ruby Laffoon made him a Kentucky Colonel in 1935 in recognition of his contributions to the state's cuisine. Within four years, his establishment was listed in Duncan Hines' “Adventures in Good Eating.”

As more people started coming strictly for the food, he moved across the street to increase his capacity. Over the next decade, he perfected his secret blend of 11 herbs and spices and the basic cooking technique that is still used today.

- Fame left Harland, a some what a lost man; who in his fifties came to the point where he wanted a paradign shift... He was foul mouthed character, who went to a small church meeting one evening and there became a deciple of Christ!

The Colonel's Cooking Spreads Worldwide
In 1955, confident of the quality of his fried chicken, the Colonel devoted himself to developing his chicken franchising business. Less than 10 years later, Sanders had more than 600 KFC franchises in the U.S. and Canada, and in 1964 he sold his interest in the U.S. company for $2 million to a group of investors including John Y. Brown Jr. (who later became governor of Kentucky).

Until he was fatally stricken with leukemia in 1980 at the age of 90, the Colonel traveled 250,000 miles a year visiting KFC restaurants around the world.

- Robert E Lee

Profile of Robert E. Lee

Rober E. Lee's Early Life

He was born in Virginia in January 1807.

- The Lee family arrived in Virginia in the early 1600's.
His father: Henry Lee III (January 29, 1756 – March 25, 1818), was an early American patriot who served as the ninth Governor of Virginia and as the Virginia Representative to the United States Congress. During the American Revolution, Lee served as a cavalry officer in the Continental Army and earned the nickname "Light-Horse Harry" was the father of Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

- At 17, Robert E. Lee was appointed to West Point. He graduated second in his class and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the corps of engineers. His early military career was spent designing and building forts.

- Which brings us to Lee's view on slavery, since slaves were part of the estate; this issue would define his life. It is common knowledge that he was always opposed to slavery. {he freed the slaves that he had inhaired)
In fact, after the Civil War, he became a crucial figure in the “lost cause of the Confederacy," a phrase that was used in an attempt to define the Civil War.

- Lee moved from engineering to combat during the Mexican-American War. His reconnaissance as a staff officer is credited with several victories. After the war he declined an offer to lead the Cuban rebels in their fight against Spain.

General Robert E. Lee's Role in The War between The States

- Lee was present at both monumental events that led up to the Civil War; Harper's Ferry and the succession of Texas. After turning down a commission from Lincoln himself to lead the entire unlon army, he was forced to make a choice between his country and defending his home state of Virginia and chose the latter.

Lee became commander of the Army of Northern Virginia.
After he led a series of attacks that unnerved his opponent Gen. McClellan, it became obvious he could be the aggressor even though the Confederates suffered significant losses. His first big success occurred while defending Fredricksburg where the unlon suffered tremendous losses: over double the Confederates'

*During his command of the Army of Northern Virginia; with the help of many Chaplins Revival meetings were a common sight... The General himself would stop at various times with the troops to worship at camp meetings...
{Appox. 15,000 men were saved in these meetings}

- At a pivotal point in the war, Lee's decision to attack the north proved to be a significant strategic set back.
He fought ten major battles; but he lost one key engagement in the battle of Gettysburg, PA. The war waged on until the end came in April 1865 when, plagued by desertions and poorly supplied, he felt the cause lost and surrendered to General Grant at Appomattox.

BTW: At Appomattox: Gen. Grant had slaves, but Gen. Lee did not have any slaves at that point!

- Lee was loved by his men and well respected by all who met him! Friend or foe....

Robert E. Lee's Legacy

- Shortly after the war and until his death, he served as the President of what came to be known as Washington and Lee University.

Lee was discribed this way: " what he seemed to be he was -
a wholly human gentleman, the essential elements of whose positive character were two and only two; simplicity and spirituality. As to simlicity he was a man without dissimulation. "

Gen. Lee was offered many positions just because of his fame and name. One large Corpotation offered to make him, President; which he refused once they told him:
"But General, we do not want you to discharge any duties. We simply wish to use your name that will adundantly compensate us." To which Lee replyed: " Excuse me sir, I can not consent to received pay for services I did not reender."

He believed he had found his true calling as President of the College. Stating once, that having a military education was one of the worst decisions he ever made. He interviewed each and every student in his office... {He would told them " I do not care if you do not learn anything while here except to be a Christian and a Gentleman!" - it was an all male college)

He died in 1870 and was buried with high honors in the school's chapel. As many as 50,000 vets from both sides attended the funeral in Sept 1870; standing outside lining the funeral route; singing his favorate hymn " How firm a foundation!"

Overall he is remembered as a decent and caring person and a champion of reconstruction. Lee deeply believed in keeping the United States of America as a whole and complete country.
