Reuters takes down article after comment sent about nation's rights to defend by attacking other nation's weaponry.

President Obama claims it is okay to bomb another nation for simply having weapons that might be used against you. Go ahead North Korea, bomb America "just because they have weapons they MIGHT use against you" - but retaliation for wiping out another nation's weapons is NOT okay.

 Of course, there has long been a double standard for Israel. No matter what THEY do, nobody should retaliate... in the eyes of America.  Pres. O-BOMB-A is no different.

   And then, as was my experience today, American media - Reuters - quickly takes down any comments or articles that might show Israel or America in a bad light.

  Mainstream Media ["MSM"] in America are lapdogs for Washington. There are countless examples of course, but when an act of "censorship" [if thats what this can be called] happens to me or you, it should be noted.

With that in mind, here is what happened to me today:
   I was reading the news on the Reuters website, and there were several article about Israel launching rockets into Syria. I read, I thought, I COMMENTED on Pres. Obama's remarks about how it is okay for Israel to bomb Syria just because Syria has weapons that, in a far cry from reality, might be used against Israel.

   And then I waited to see if my comment would be posted.

   It never was - in fact, the entire article was taken off the site!! Did I hit a nerve? Perhaps that is egotistical of my to think my comment caused concerns with anyone, but the timing suggests it.

Here is the quote in question, from President Obama -

   "... the Israelis justifiably have to guard against the transfer of advanced weaponry to terrorist organizations like Hezbollah."
-end quote-  

   He is saying that Israel has the right to blow up Syria's weapons because those weapons might be brought to Palestine by Hezbollah and used against Israel.

   Gee, President Obama is saying that there would be justification for Palestine to attack the USA because the USA supplies Israel with weapons that are used against Palestine!!

  That is, if all nations have equal rights - and that IS what various international agreements clearly state.

  Pres. Obama is also saying that the USA would have no right to retaliate against the USA for wiping out weapons that might be used against it... because, after all, nobody should be striking back at Israel for bombing Syria.

Obama on airstrikes: Israel has to guard against Hezbollah

(Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Saturday that Israel has the right to guard against the transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah a day after Israel attacked a Hezbollah-bound missile shipment in Syria.

Israel has long made clear it is prepared to resort to force to prevent advanced Syrian weapons from reaching Hezbollah or jihadi rebels. Israeli warplanes went after the shipment inside Syria, where a two-year civil war is raging.

Obama, in an interview with the Spanish-language network Telemundo as part of a three-day Latin America tour that ended in Costa Rica, would not comment on whether the airstrikes had in fact taken place.

"I'll let the Israeli government confirm or deny whatever strikes that they've taken," he said.

But Obama, who visited Israel in March, made clear such strikes would be justified.

"What I have said in the past and I continue to believe is that the Israelis justifiably have to guard against the transfer of advanced weaponry to terrorist organizations like Hezbollah. We coordinate closely with the Israelis recognizing they are very close to Syria, they are very close to Lebanon," he said.

Obama's government is seeking to determine whether Syria used chemical weapons against its own people to quash a rebellion.

He said on Friday he does not envision sending U.S. troops to Syria regardless of whether chemical weapons use is determined but he has a number of other options under review.
