Needle in a Haystack...this is why I like APPLE

Went in to get another Apple Iphone.

I had to. My Iphone fell today and cracked.

Went into the Apple Store in Fashion Valley to replace it under Applecare for $49.00.

In the process, I started to order a new Iphone.

Donna helped me take the SIM card, that had the AT&T info the new phone,
but then I decided...no, I will not replace the phone for $49.00, I will get a new Iphone 5

Went over to the other part of the Apple Store to get the Iphone 5, but lo and behold, I could not get the Iphone here for some reason. I had to go to the AT&T Store about three miles away to get the iphone there.

We went there. Caleb helped me. He had to go call the A T& T headquarters in order to get it shipped out. This was because I was not ready for an upgrade on until July. I wasn't ready for an upgrade. AT&T had to get me the new phone.

Then, I realized, after the AT&T Store that I had forgotten the SIM Card in the
45 I was going to buy. Donna took it out of the old phone and put it into the new, but the new phone got put back on the Shelf!!!!

I went back to the Apple Store.

How were they to find the SIM Card?
It would be like finding a needle in a haystack!

Luckily Donna and started a repair order, so there was a tracking Number.

Another Apple Tech helped me.

What did he do?

"We took the name that was on the repair, we will able to track the repair number from the repair number we were able to locate the box. once we located the box, we popped out SIM card and were able to return it to me to reactive service in the phone...".Thomas


if I had that issue occur and did not go right back, there would have been no possibility to find the SIM card!

He said, it saved me $25.00 bucks and a hastle.

The day was an hastle, but I am taking time to blog about it.

What lessons are to be learned from this?

This is why I like Apple.

get the replacement today for $49.00.

Be patient.

Apple would be coming out with a new model in a few months.

a better model.


I wanted the Iphone 5 now.

it costs me $299.00 for the new Iphone.
for 32g . $36 to upgrade....
