My last few weeks at work have been unforgivingly busy. With that in mind, I figured 'maybe I should do some kind of weaning into the fast'.

Starting a fast at midnight might seem silly but I've been known to be a night owl eater. Also, we fast at night anyway so I'm giving my self an easy start. After some consideration I did decide to have some apples the first few days. Maybe Sat and Sunday. 

I was hoping to sleep in tomorrow morning but I might need to go run an important errand. I almost was going to have to be away from my house this evening. That was making me very uneasy. I didn't like that idea one bit. I felt the need to be home when I officially started the fast. But something got canceled thus freeing me. So, I am writing this from my house! I started my menses yesterday. I think this is a good thing. It probably will go its normal length of time and will be due again around the time I stop the fast. It has left me very tired. I started noticing it does this to me about 3 years ago. I feel completely wiped out when Aunty Rose visits me. I didn't get enough sleep the last three days either so the deprivation and exhaustion is extremely pronounced. I'm glad I'm even getting this blog up.

Oh, I wanted to mention my weight again. Okay so yesterday I was at 189.4 lbs and today I am 191.4. I actually have not seen myself at 190 in YEARS; even more so a good reason to start this fast. By morning I'll probably already be back down to the 180's. An the mental & physical cleanse will begin. I'm so tired. Goodnight
