There Is No Such Thing As A "Disease-Proof" Diet by chef jem .....

The most "respected" studies regarding diet must be seen in light of where the study comes from, what it is based on and probably most importantly - how that study is funded. Studies on "LDL cholesterol levels" that implicate diet as the cause of heart disease is highly suspect whenever the funding can be traced to pharmaceutical companies that are offering cholesterol-lowering drugs (that in turn do not make one healthy)!

I posted the following comment in response to some quotes from a few studies re: "LDL cholesterol levels" as I mentioned above.

Re: "Respected Research Agrees" -
The human body manufactures cholesterol. Therefore, the stated conclusion that: "Dietary saturated fat is the chief determinant of total and LDL cholesterol levels" requires inclusion of the cholesterol amounts that are manufactured in the body (independent of dietary cholesterol). However, cholesterol is essential nutrition for humans. How does one determine their own optimal "LDL cholesterol levels"? Especially in light of the fact that Western Medicine has somewhat magically determined what the healthy level is and then has even more magically lowered their levels while recommending that all LDL cholesterol readings above their declared level should be treated with the pharmaceutical drugs of (the doctor's) choice. "Cholesterol" is an extremely well-orchestrated, fear-based propaganda that is fully supported by Big-Pharma. Get over the fear and enjoy your cholesterol!

Re: red meat consumption and it's impact of health, etc. - the kind of meat needs to be identified, i.e. grass-fed vs. grain fed. They are two different animals.

However, stated conclusions that implicate diet as either the sole or the primary cause of disease does so to the exclusion of the new medicine. The psyche-brain-body connection as revealed by German New Medicine (profoundly well-documented by Dr. Hamer) has shown how the impact of shock conflicts instantly launch meaningful, intelligent biological survival programs of nature that Western Medicine labels as various "diseases". These biological programs are created to assist an organism during unexpected distress - to support the process of resolving the conflict. There are different biological needs during the healing phases and diet can be supportive in a number of ways however diet alone does not have the capacity to resolve the original conflict. Every "disease" deserves an inquiry as to whether or not there is a conflict in the psyche that is at cause.[1]

"An article in The Telegraph, June 2016 stated that 'Cholesterol does not cause heart disease in the elderly and trying to reduce it with drugs like statins is a waste of time.' The statement comes from a meta analysis of research involving nearly 70,000 people that found no link between 'bad' cholesterol and the premature deaths of over 60-year-olds from cardiovascular disease.

The BMJ Open Journal found that 92 percent of people with a high cholesterol level actually lived longer, which led Professor Sherif Sultan, University of Ireland to say that lowering cholesterol with medications is a total waste of time." - Dr. Carolyn Dean[2]
